My grandfather just had a cerebral hemmorage and he's 86 so we aren't really optimistic. He's a few hours away so whenever the "please get to the hospital" call comes my dad and I are basically getting in the car and driving down right then. Which for 100m means that at some point I may suddenly disappear for an unspecified amount of time.

OK, that does it. There have been too many casualties in the extended 100m family lately; we've officially hit our quota. Nobody else gets to be injured. Please spread the word among your friends and family and tell them I said so... they have to remain healthy and intact. Forever. So there, nyah.
Seriously: really sorry to hear about your grandfather; I hope everything goes as well as it plausibly can. We'll keep your chair warm.

Actually for now it looks like I'm not going so I'll still be hanging around, it's just I might someday over the next few weeks vanish for a few days.
