The kiss in and of itself is absolutely ecstatic, and Sherridan's mindset becomes almost sickeningly uncharacteristically bubbly, filled with nothing but nice, warm thoughts and feelings, and even the usually ever present sarcastic little voice that always makes sure the rest of the mind is being properly warned of its bubbly quality coefficient, and how much it needs to be lowered, is gone, which is perhaps the one worrying part about the whole ordeal.
Not much time is left for him to contemplate the experience, however, for within the next few seconds there is a small tug at the back of the aforementioned mind. First he feels the oddest of sensations, inexplicable except by a confused "ngh", and then the connection hits him full on. No longer certain of whether he is the one whose face is being touched, or the one touching it, whether he initiated the kiss or if he just followed, and there is a general sensation of their minds creating a double helix.
For a moment he feels as if he is unable to breathe, despite having panted a few times through his nose, and then they break off and his mind feels strangely alone, or moreover lonely. Sherridan lets out a gasp of his own, but not for lack of breath, but for the belated shock induced reaction to the connection of their psyches.
As he gathers his thoughts into a semi-tangible chaos, the soft mat of hair rubs against his chin and he feels the boy's warm breath as he murmurs into his neck. The cat mutant keeps his arms in the hug still, and he leans in a bit, letting a portion of his head's weight to be supported by the other's own, taking a few moments and then placing a loving kiss into the fuzzy carpet, before returning to previous position.
A chuckle rolls off his lips and he smiles both inwardly and outwardly. "That's right...warm and fuzzy..." he whispers, and then thinks to himself, although he's not completely certain if it is actually "heard" by Roger or not at this point, Yeah, just like you make me feel.... The thought, however, is not pondered any further on, because Sherridan Kaine does not feel warm and fuzzy. Ever.
