<sup>Gambit grinned slightly at how simple this had been. Not that he really had anything up his sleeve, just that he was finally on a side where he could somewhat fit in. Some of the x-men had looked down on him because of his shady past, being a thief and whatnot. Though he only really trusted one of the x-men, he felt better on the Brotherhood side of things. Remy could understand if Eric didn't trust him, he was a former X-men after all, so it didn't bother him if anybody else decided not to like him.

"Appreciate it." He said regarding the second chance he was apparently being given. He stood up as if he had been dismissed. "I understand"Apparently Magneto had some other matters to attend to and Mystique was in charge, so naturally Remy had no problem with this. Just as long as the kid pyro didn't bother him, he felt that he'd like it here. Now his next challenge would be earning the long since lost trust of Magneto. Being former enemies often puts both parties on the edge for a while, so he would need to ponder up something to be on their good sides.

He glanced at Mystique for a sign or something, he didn't know what he was looking for. Just something such as a signal that told him to follow her or something. At this point he almost felt as if he would follow her anywhere. Friends were always friends right? Even in this particular case.</sup>

Mystique did not move or interrupt as Magneto and Gambit talked, though she was aware of the many glances Erik gave her. Well perhaps she was a reminder, or perhaps Erik thought he was doing her a favor seeing as how she brought him in here... No, that was unlikely. It didn't seem like he would be inclined to accept someone to the group just because Mystique had been the one to bring them in. Surely it meant more than that.. and strangely it wasn't really of her concern. She didn't ponder too much on this because the true answer was clear but not really something that she needed to clear up anyway.

Magneto called this meeting short and Mystique wasn't sure why at the moment. However she didn't seem bothered by this at all. She didn't think that Remy would betray them and if he did, well that was a strike against Mystique too. Surely even if there wasn't an obvious trust in between them that was unshakable, there was something there that could not be denied. After all why would she bring him in here and introduce him to Erik herself?

He told her to lead him away and tell the boys to keep an eye on him, her lips curled slightly into an ironic smile. Oh, sure.. she wont have to tell them to because any new guy they see walking with her will raise their suspicion and jealousy. Mystique was an intriguing woman and not only did she have her stunning figure but due to her closeness with Magneto she caught others eye. She gave Magneto a nod of her head and pushed off from her spot, letting her arms fall down to her sides.

She walked quickly and confidently across the room and brushed up against Remy slightly as she passed him, waiting at the door for him to follow. She turned around just enough to make eye contact, here bright yellow orbs settled lightly on his face. When she saw him respond to her leading him, making his way after her, she turned and headed down the hall. "It's good to have you." Strange to hear her say but since.. that little incident it put her a little more at ease when she had more people she felt comfortable around. Let's say it helped suppress the anger that she still felt because from time to time it did press on her.. However she had chose to come back so she wouldn't think much about it anymore.
