There were many words that could used to describe Larza Willson.
Gothic.
Demented. Assassin.
Sneaky. Pretty.
Deadly. Mutant. Talented.
Graceful?
Yeah, usually.
Not today, however.
Walking from the counter she'd just gotten her drink from towards a booth she'd targeted, in the back of the room, Larza had tripped over a seam in the tile -
And was now covered in her Iced Dark Chocolate Expresso.
As was the person she'd tripped nearby, who was in line.
Oh yeah, she wasn't in the best of moods, all of a sudden. Swearing, she shook coffee off her hands, and scowled a the smirking patrons a little furthur up the line.
Yeah, well, they wouldn't be smirking if they'd been just a few people back in line, now, would they?
"Sorry." she mumbled to the person she'd just totally drenched in iced coffee. She wasn't really feeling all that apologetic, but she assumed they'd be irked - she would'a been.

He did want an Iced Dark Chocolate Espresso, but he would have preferred it more in a cup rather than on his light blue T-shirt. Or his light blue shorts. Still, Daniel is smiling, and actually laughs about it.
"Hey, it's fine. We all have our moments, and bad days as well!" he says in a friendly tone, and then turns around, because the person in front of him is just finishing his order. Danny makes his order and patiently waits for the drink. Two cups are given to him.
He turns around, and searches for the girl, in case she moved to some other place in the cafe. He finds her quickly and comes up to her. "Here, you will probably still want to drink one." he says, giving her one of the cups. It's the exact same stuff he has on his clothes, and even though they will probably not wash that easily, Daniel is in quite a happy mood.
The fact that his shirt is now semi-transparent and reveals most of his muscles escapes him, as such trivial things usually do so. For some odd reason, it is not easy to get Danny in a bad mood. He seems to look on the bright side whatever happens to him. Well, most of whatever, anyway.
"I'm Danny, by the way." Danny adds, the friendly tone never leaving his voice, and a warm, welcoming look in his eyes somehow stays there all the while, radiating positive energy.

"Hey, it's fine. We all have our moments, and bad days as well!"
"Yep." she responded, glancing at him for a moment, "Still, s'cold - must not b't'fun."
She hadn't expected cheerfulness - but that worked. She moved off to get some napkins, fully intending to clean herself off - because she was not going to go to her meeting later all sticky with coffee.
At least she'd been wearing black. No stains, unlike the unfortunate man she'd drenched. She was wiping coffee of her arm when she heard the familliar voice nearby, and her head snapped in his direction, only to see him holding out a coffee to her.
"Here, you will probably still want to drink one."
Larza gave him a measuring look, but accepted it, wondering just why it was he was in such a friendly mood, naturally suspiscious of his generosity.
"Thanks..."
"I'm Danny, by the way."
"Larza." she responded. She was a little wary - she tended to avoid socially interacting with most people - especally strangers, and even more especally strangers who were male. But, he seemed genuinely nice, and, a quick brush of her empathy, simply to seek his emotions, nothing altered, proved that he was, indeed, no threat.
"So. Wanna clean tha' of'a ya? Napkins ain't much, but...it's somethin'."

"So. Wanna clean tha' of'a ya? Napkins ain't much, but...it's somethin'."
"Nah, it's fine. Not that important a shirt, really. Besides, I have tons of 'em at home." he replies, still in the same friendly tone, which probably won't leave any time soon.
"Why don't we sit somewhere, we're making a crowd here." he suggests, pointing in the general direction of the free foyers and tables. He never did care much about where he sat, as long as the place served its purpose.
It doesn't matter that she may not be a mutant. He is intent on making friends, and he doesn't really care whether these friends are mutants, humans, or even walking, talking tires.
"Oh, and just so we settle one thing, I'm a mutant." he says, loud enough for her to hear, but still silent enough for everyone else not to do the same over the cafe's concoction of noises.

"Nah, it's fine. Not that important a shirt, really. Besides, I have tons of 'em at home."
She shrugged. "Suit y'self - sticky when it dries, though."
"Why don't we sit somewhere, we're making a crowd here."
She 'hm'd under her breath a little. She hadn't really planned on social interaction - but, then, he had gotten her a coffee after she'd dumped hers all over him. Yeah, she owed him one.
"Sound good." she responded.
"Oh, and just so we settle one thing, I'm a mutant."
Caught a little off guard, it still didn't take long for a smirk to cross Larza's face. "An' lucky f'you, 'M not some psyco who'll gut ya in an alley f'tellin' m'that." she murmured in reply, with a flash of amusement in her silver eyes. "C'mon."
She lead the way to the booth she'd been eyeing before, and slid into it, setting her bag beside her.
Once he had sat down as well, she leaned across the table a litle towards him. "An' jus' b'cause y'already tol' m'that - I am too." she murmured, equally quietly, but with the spark of amusement still in her eyes, and smirk still on her face.
"Not tha' it's importan' - jus' figured I'd share."
She took a sip from the coffee he'd gotten her, and smiled a little. The same kind she'd ordered.
"Ya could tell what kin'a coffee I had by what I dumped on ya, huh? Nice."

Danny follows her and sits down after she gets herself settled. He smiles widely as she tells him that she is a mutant as well, and warmth radiates from his green eyes. "Glad you did! Oh, and I've been coming here for way too long- I know every coffee by color. And I figured you liked that, since I was bathing in it." he laughs slightly.
"So what brings you here?" he continues with the conversation, sipping on his own coffee. Indeed, he has been spending too much time in this place. That's probably the thing that got me immune to the influence of caffeine though. Not that I need it lately. That room at the institute is so small... he thinks, and then shudders at the thought of that room. Even here, at Starbucks, he feels very uncomfortable, but the presence of so many people sort of calms him down. Still, it is obvious that he doesn't like being inside, or perhaps hates it. The real feeling behind all this, though, is fear. Tremendous fear. Danny has a rarely severe case of claustrophobia, and therefore spends much time outside.
Still, he has to overcome this fear some time in his life, so why not start ASAP?

"Glad you did! Oh, and I've been coming here for way too long- I know every coffee by color. And I figured you liked that, since I was bathing in it."
"Mhmm...Coffee addict?" She raised an eyebrow playfully as she spoke, and reajusted the partial gloves on her hands - which were still somewhat sticky-wet from coffee.
"So what brings you here?"
"Coffee. Caffination. The fact that 'M on this side'a town. I prefer smaller coffeeshops - y'know, the ones that still use real mugs? B't, yeah, figured I'd grab somethin' while i w's here."
She shrugged. She didn't seign to inform him of her reason for being in this side of town - no, that was "top secret, highly calssified assassin-only" information. And if he asked, he was going to get a vague answer, for that very reason.
That, and she didn't feel like being stalked today.
"An' y'self? I presume it wasn' t'get y'self a bath..."

Danny laughs. "Yes, indeed, I'm a very hard case of coffee addiction. It sort of helps me through...stuff. And as for why I came here, well, the answer imposes itself, doesn't it? Although, bathing in coffee is a completely new experience to me. Perhaps it would be better with cappuccino?" he says, sipping his drink.
"A nice day today, isn't it?" he says after a while, trying to keep his mind off the fact that he is inside, surrounded by vicious walls from all sides, just waiting to be imprisoned and driven crazy. Or is he perhaps already there?

"Mhm. Definetly makin' sense there." she responded. She had her own issues to deal with, and, even though she didn't know his, she sorta-almost sympathized with the guy. Lonely bunch, if they were relying on coffee to solve their probblems.
And as for why I came here, well, the answer imposes itself, doesn't it? Although, bathing in coffee is a completely new experience to me. Perhaps it would be better with cappuccino?
"Well, here, it's so hot, y'might just get scaleded..." she said with a small shrug. "Might wanna let it cool f'awhile b'fo' bathin' in it."
After a pause, he spoke once again. "A nice day today, isn't it?"
She glanced out a window, slight scowl on her face. "Eh, I guess. Not much of one for the outdoors - I prefer air conditioning and no bugs." she responded, "But, if y'just lookin' at it, I guess so...:
