Time had passed and Magneto had kept himself hidden long enough. The homo sapiens above no doubt were feeling pretty good about themselves at this point, after all, Magneto had yet to make himself known and from the looks of things, one would have guessed the old man had retreated.......Oh how naive homo sapiens could be. Magneto was merely biding his time, letting the homo sapiens spread themselves too thin and relax all too much. Their armor had a weak link somewhere and Magneto would find it, it just took time was all.
The explosions and gunfire outside began to lessen and Erik assumed that the troops had moved forward once again, leaving their rear force wide open for an ambush....an ambush that Erik himself would lead and be apart of. Raising his hands into the air, the ceiling above him began to crumbled and shake, finally tearing apart and erupting straight up. Outside, the ground shook violently before exploding in a rain of dirt, gravel and metal. A hole large enough to drive a tank into was left between the rushed base of operations and the burning Brotherhood hideout. Orders were being barked out left and right as the dirt and debris began to settle, but none of those orders would do any good. Erik rose up into the air slowly, his arms folded in front of him arrogantly and a look of pure satisfaction on his face. He had his enemy right where he wanted them and that certainly did not bode well for the homo sapiens. One of the jeeps next to the field commander rose off the ground about five feet and then was violently ripped in half, each half then tossed in opposite directions. An ill advised tank was targeted next, the long barrel being bent up wards and then then the treads ripped off as well. A small advancing guard group soon found themselves wrapped up in one of the tank treads and squeezed to death all the while Magneto looked on with joy. Bullets ricocheted and spun wildly out of control as the magnetic field around Magneto protected him from any sort of metallic assault. Holding his hands out straight and then forcing them down quickly, face down, all the vehicles in range were flattened completely under tremendous magnetic force.
