Hell yeah, Pyro has a new power. It's called dropping off radar, which is what I'll be doing between Monday 17th and Saturday 22nd, since on the 17th I'll be watching the Chilis storm Earl's Court, on the 18th I'll be in Cambridge... 19th I fly out to Germany at some godawful hour in the morning for 2 days of themepark madness... and 21st I'll be catching up on sleep since I plan on existing on a mix of caffeine and adrenaline. Anyhow, I leave the site in the more than capable hands of the good-guy admin aka Rogue and my second-in-command aka Avalanche. Any queries can be directed to them, and I'm sure they'll do a far better job than my usual half-arsed efforts... I'm dragging Tarot, my RL little sister, along with me for the ride, so she won't be on either  |

Yes. I'm off to Oxford 18 - 24th August. I may be able to get to a computer during this time but it won't be anything near as often as usual. After that I'll be back and online pretty much 24/7 for a week or so before going back to usual.
Tarot will be away 18 - 30th August.
Rogue's in South Africa 19th Aug - 5th Sept-ish.

I refuse to believe anyone's missed the fact that I'm off to Uni tomorrow. I'm taking my laptop (or Portable Sanity Restoration Device, as I seem to have named it in last night's mildly sloshed madness... either that, or it's decided to call itself that, which is plain scary) but I don't know when my new internet connection will be up and running. It could be up to *shudder* 2 weeks and while I may be able to get to a computer pudnuf will probably have to be put on hold (posting porn not the best way to start the year, methinks).
So sorry to abandon y'all. I will return - I can't not, since you lot keep me sane - but in the mean time bear with me.

Anyhow, yes. I now have net connection to my room, woot. Coupled with the wierd hours of student life and not having 'rents around this should *fingers crossed* mean that I'll be more active and more in line with all you lot.

Gack. Just as I was getting back into posting... I fry my laptop and it has to go to the laptop doctor. I'll still be on, fingers crossed, since one of my lovely flatmates has offered to lend me her computer and the uni has computer labs I can use, but it won't be anywhere near as much, and posting'll be messed up since I had a load of half-finished stuff on the laptop. Maximum downtime *shudder* 3 weeks but I'm anticpating *fingers crossed* it should be less than that.

Well... yes, actually. I'm hating having to do this, partly because things are getting so good, and partly because whenever I leave the site seems to slip into hibernation. But RL commitments with the family are going to eat up my time... and hey, the 2 nights off may well be what my fried-out brain needs to get up and running again. Fingers crossed.
So yeah. No Pyro on the 20th or 21st.
And I may as well warn you in advance... 3rd-5th November I'll probably be shooting my first student film

This weekend - Oct 28-29 - my posting will likely be extremely erratic. I've got a term paper due on Monday, and after that I've got a big midterm on Wednesday. I might be hovering around the site, but no huge posting will be done unless I get lots of nice things accomplished.
Pyro should be able to handle any questions anyone has, if there's anything x-men specific toss me a PM. Sorry for any threads that are left hanging in the next 6 days or so... hee.

It's 2.45am my time. I am awake now because at 5am I need to be awake to wake up the rest of my production crew and go shoot this sprawling monster of a movie. I shall be doing a 23 hr shoot (eek!). So yeah, no Pyro 4th / 5th. Josh is in charge in my absence. Apologies for any threads yada yada

Finally finished editing the bitch of a documentary today, woot. Hopefully now that's not melting my brain the muses'll come back...
... however, 16th - 30th December I'm back at home with the 'rents. So although I'll still be on daily it won't be for as long, or at the wierd hours you're used to (they live on *normal* time, heh).... and I won't have AIM. Activity may also take a nosedive as I'll be working on an essay due in Jan 6th. Oh well.

I'll be out of town on vacation (woohoo!) from Dec 29 - Jan 7. Pyro will be watching you hooligans, though.... Anyway, I'm assuming the site's going to slow down quite a bit because of the holidays (I think it's already started this weekend...) so no big, but something to keep in mind.
My laptop will also be going in for repairs during my vacation, and may not be done when I return. I'll have internet access - just not as much as normal.
Yay, the holidays are almost here!!

Py has to deal with some RL commitments she's been putting off because of her addiction to the site and subsequent reluctance to leave the computer (like, erm, talking to her family.... yes) so she's off home tonight.
Fingers crossed should be back Sunday afternoon / evening, just to warn those I'm threading with, no responses tonight.

Advance warning; activity's going to take a dip this weekend. Some RL shit has gone down here in Uni-ville and my parents want me to spend the weekend with them so they can reassure themselves that I'm not on the way to the funny farm because of it. Plus it would genuinely be nice to get away from the situation, and from my screenwriting office where I have been stuck pretty much 24/7, to see them, and to eat something other than toast XD
So I'll be back home Friday / Sat / Sunday and back on *as per usual* Sunday evening... I'll still probably get onsite at some point Friday / Saturday but it won't be for the length you're all used to.

Just to make it official and fill you all in...
... as you might have realised, Py's a film student IRL, and her prod. company's first major project is in pre-prod next week and then prod for the following fortnight. Which is stressful enough if you're just the gopher. Py is the producer/director. This means she is running around panicking, filling in ungodly amounts of paperwork, racing between meetings and commissioning boards and focus groups and castings and all manner of other shit, and generally driving the whole thing. Which means RP may be taking a backseat for while.
I'll still be online - hell, I'll probably still be posting, because I'll go insane without my outlet. But just to forewarn you (and, to an extent, explain why my posting has been gack recently) if I do fail to churn out massive volumes of posts; my brain's currently running on "Now, we need to organise recces and sort out a casting call... Have I photocopied risk assessments?" etc etc
