So my count of who wants in is:
Chaperones: Josh, Warren, Jack, Toni, Chris
Kids: Laurie, Matty, John, Veronica, Danny
Brotherhood: Primer, Roger
Which seems like quite a lot of adults but if no one else has a problem with it then I don’t either. Everyone can promise to post twice a week? Yes? Yes. Good.
Now onto plot ideas so far:
-Dinosaur skeletons come to life. I think you’re joking. It goes on the list because it amuses me.
-Sneaking off: A group of the kids, probably led by the ever-helpfully plot-device-y Julian (or maybe John who gets saddled with a bunch of tag-alongs?) decides the museum trip is for losers and takes off into the city. They’re supposed to be back before anyone notices but shenanigans ensue and they’re not. Chaperones can have their own fun trying to find the little beasts so that it’s more two related threads than all ten characters interacting at once. The possibilities here are pretty limitless so I’m curious if anyone has any specific plots?
-In the museum: There’s something sketchy going on in the museum itself which could range from a pre-teen telekinetic coming into his own next to the dinosaur bones and needing a rescue by the nearest ‘stute kids as things turn ugly to the ironic interruption of some purely human criminal activity (artifact smuggling?) that splits up the chaperones and students or mixes them together into smaller separate groups. Because ten character threads seem unwieldy.
-Brotherhood: Well Primer is certainly keeping tabs on Laurie at any rate. Though they could have their own reasons for being there which is preferable. Maybe someone giving a talk to one of those academic conferences that use museum conference rooms sometimes (at least there was once a sign I thought I saw in passing at a museum in my home town that said an academic conference was meeting there so…clearly this is a common event!) has published something mutants don’t like- more academic than Creed but still pretty clearly anti-mutant- and the Brotherhood decides to send a message, not knowing that the Institute field trip is there that day. Drama ensues. I do think this is workable despite the low number of BHood members participating because I am willing to run NPCs and willing to badger one or two of y'all mercilessly until you either bring in your BHood characters or run NPCs with me haha.

These are some vague possibilities so now…more specific ideas anyone? Preferences from the above? Ideas not on the list? I could just make up my own specific plot and yell go but I really think it’s more fun if everyone collaborates at this stage so, you know, have at it
