Four little words mean that the cured are the cursed again. That the defeated rise. That the victorious have a whole new set of problems to deal with. Friends become enemies, enemies become allies, and the world becomes a big, scary place.

The official line is that a new day has dawned, that mutants and humans can co-exist. Down where it matters, ‘mutant’ remains the only truly dirty word. The only real ‘truth’ is that no one really knows what’s going on, and that a storm is coming. The story is far from over, the ‘last stand’ only the beginning
