Was thinking of starting up a random comic-book-style mutant fight scene thread... something low-investment, high-energy, pure creative-power-use combat.
Logistically, I'm thinking of having a half-dozen or so Xavier types sign up (first come first served), then putting together an NPC villain team and having each player control one of the villains. The thread runs round-robin until we get bored and then the villains escape or are KOed or accidentally hospitalized or whatever.
(I'm not suggesting an X-folk/Brotherhood fight 'cuz that's more of an investment in terms of what happens next, though if anyone feels like setting that up that'd be great too. The nice thing about NPC villains is that they can just be defeated and then ignored OOC.)
In terms of setup this could be just random (some mutant gang of Brotherhood wannabes, or something), but I think it would be cool if Mags had set this up off-camera with the mutants he didn't want on his team, as a way of testing the new X-students to see what they can do.
So, any Xfolk (or anyone else who could plausibly end up fighting alongside the Xfolk) interested, sign up! 4-6 is probably optimal, first-come first-served.
