re: how long were we gone... personally, I'd prefer us to have been gone for a longish time, so there can be some consequences to our having been gone that we can RP around.

*pokes head out of mounds of work* I'm on board with that, yay consequences. Who all stayed behind anyway? I know I've got Gail if I can count her as a character (and, hey, I say I can. yay.) and there's Warren and Jake...Danny? Sherridan? Anyone at all interested in threading some stuff with the poor bemused present folk? It's also cool with me if we just want to pick up those characters again when we "get back" but it might be interesting *shrug* *re-submerges into pile of papers*
