Hey everyone! Bob/Warr and I were batting around one of my ideas for a thread, and I came up with this.
Ororo teaches some combat or power-usage classes... right? So, I was thinking she could combine her different classes for an afternoon and have a crazy Capture the Flag Battle Royale (CtFBR) in the Danger Room.
There would be something like 4 teams if there was enough interest, to keep things moving. Team captains will be chosen, and captains will then choose their teams IC. Better think about people's powers when you choose them... and the battlefield is anything but a couple of barrels strewn around the room.
Anyone interested? This is open to anyone at the Institute. I especially suggest it for players who aren't as likely to see actual combat threads as often... but also am hoping for older students to get involved, as the old vs. young dynamic would be interesting too.

So I'm thinking that folks who want to be team captains should say so OOC, and then IC we should have it be a random selection, so we can allow for characters who are too shy or new or insane or whatever for anyone to actually pick them to get the gig?

Roguey can play! Sounds like fun.
Not captain for her, though. *gg*

Hey! Doing an update on this since finals are done (yayyyyy!) and I have about two weeks of high-octane posting until my summer counseling job starts.
Any other takers? This would definitely be a good thread for anyone interested in a combat thread who doesn't usually get to see those for whatever reason.

Any Institute members are welcome!
Oh, and those who are interested in captaining, leave a message to that effect, please!

Muahah, since I'm officially back in action, you can count Toni (unless there's a hidden rule against profs that may or may not try to feel up certain male teammates while on the battlefield...*winkwink*JohnJoshBobWarr*wink*) and Matty.

I'm pretty sure the Danger Room computers KO you if you sexually harass any other players, Toni.
Sorry... but 100m is a harassment free workplace.

< 100m is a harassment free workplace. Okay, so I and 99% of the members must have missed that memo...
Oh, and... what the hell, sign Jake up :-) because that degree of ineptitude deserves to be included in the "those who don't see combat" *(yes, Bob, the repeated invisible!Jake digs have finally broken through my steely resolve and busted him outta deep freeze...)
