** Did I do the Title right? **
Name:
Luna Blackbane
Codename:
Atrocity
Age:
17
Mutation:
Luna is a morpher. Meaning she can morph into almost every normal animal that is known to mankind. Though she can’t do the really exotic like Elephants, Ligers, Blue whales, swordfish, cobras, polar bears, parrots, monkeys, gorillas, etc. (That includes fantasy creatures and dinosaurs). She does have a slight problem with her powers… ok a bit more major than a slight problem. She is only successful at morphing 90% of the time and about 40% when she is in a carnivorous form, she has a bit of a Blood thirst and tends to attack friends unknowingly. Not to mention the pain that she has each time she shifts her form. Luna still doesn’t know the full extent of her powers. Being pretty much afraid to use them, she tries to stick to only a few forms that she knows well… basically being all that she knows at the moment. The following is what she knows so far: Panther, wolf, husky, shiba inu, snake, falcon, meerkat, house cat, horse, squirrel, fox, sea otter and crocodile. Although she can change her color with extreme concentration, she usually gets a headache afterwards.
Physical Description:
Luna has long ebony colored hair that is usually messy, every so often you can see it brushed and her bangs cut. Complimenting her ebony hair, she had dark green eyes that almost look like they should belong to a cat, and weighs about 125 lbs. She is about 5’7” tall. Luna wears a black, red or an electric blue tank top, black flare jeans and a black trench coat over it all. She prefers to wear a pair of Black skate shoes with Teal embroidery on them. Her Romanian accent stands out most of all though.
Personality: Luna is very exclusive and elusive. If she is with friends she will protect them and/or stand up for them in difficult situations. If in a sticky situation she would try to calm herself and concentrate on the best way to get herself/others out of it alive. Sometimes she'll disappear for days on end, only reappearing when she feels like it. Luna is very head strong, once she has her mind made up on a certain subject; you will have a hard time trying to change it. She is quite intelligent, and very good at manipulating those who could be to her advantage. She isn't one to be trifled with, often taking things very seriously. Luna is Very diligent and very sarcastic at the same time. She also has touchaphobia… in other words… she doesn’t like to be touched. *Thinks that is all*.
Background:
She was born as the third child of three in Romania, in a small town located somewhere in the Carpathian Mountains. Luna learned all kinds of useful facts while growing up. As a result, she can relate some obscure fact about almost every subject. Living in Romania trained her in the ways of war quickly. Considering that Romania was constantly being attacked by neighboring countries, rebelling, enjoying freedom, and then being attacked again, it was a constant circle. Luna grew up fast; she learned how to defend herself at a young age. She also grew up competing for attention because her older twin siblings, Natalie and Nicholas seemed to be the best in almost everything.
When she was 13, her parents found out about her mutated abilities; extremely disappointed, they abandoned her. In their beliefs, Mutants were demons; she should have been killed on spot. But did they have the courage to kill their own daughter, no. Instead, they kicked her out and left her on her own at the age of 10. Knowing that her grandfather Shayne is a mutant, she began to seek him and his help. This took her journey to the far corners (no, the earth is NOT flat) of the earth. After about 5 years of searching, when she was 15, she found out that he resided in Scotland.
She began another trek to her Scotland, but with one problem, she had no idea where in Scotland he lived. She told herself that she would worry about that when she got there. Another year of research and endless searching for her grandfather left her with an open end, he was dead, murdered. She felt as if she had been stabbed in the heart. She received more news a couple of days later that her mother had also been murdered, her elder sister ended up being mysteriously murdered the same way the following week. She had nowhere to go, or so she thought. Further research in Scotland revealed Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. She thought that she would be safe here, learn to use her powers for further use, and from the looks of it, she was right.

The clouds had begun releasing their tears several hours ago, and now rivulets of water ran down the ancient stone of the ramparts and pooled upon the earth below. Luna stared out over the castle to the vast plain on the other side of the gates, the quiet tapping of cold raindrops against the metal of the statues her ears. She grimaced slightly as an involuntary tremor ran down her face, leaving behind it a strange numbness.
Luna raised her head and looked up into the falling rain, blinking every now and then as a droplet landed on her face. As she stared into the sky, she could make out the individual liquid spears flying earthwards, though they faded in and out of focus with the waves of nervous warmth filling her body. She sighed quietly, the diffident noise lost amid the drumming of the rain; other than the sounds of water against rock and steel, and the occasional shouts from other parts of the castle echoing in the courtyard below, the world around her was silent. It was a beautiful night for a run.
The veins in her arms swelled as her muscles tensed. Her heart rate accelerated as her throat developed the snarling sounds of the wolf. Luna slid her tongue under the growing and sharpening canines, delighting in the feeling of the pain. Luna's eyesight, which became much clearer as the transformation neared completion, caught notice of her growing muzzle, which accommodated her heightened sense of smell. Once the transformation was complete she stretched as the breeze returned, stronger this time, playing with her ears.
~Hours later~
The dark coat of the fae moved like a blur across the log that served as a bridge across the river. Her limbs moved easily and freely beneath her. Running was one of her favorite things. It was such an enjoyment for her that even the dreary hopelessness of the night's journey couldn't bring her down so long as she was in motion. The various colored trees and other plants of the forest flew past her as she traveled again on her biannual trip into the darkened heart of one of the forest's drearier vicinities. She took her familiar route in through the one of the forests many caves. She leaped onto a large rock and slipped through a rather large hole above it.
She paused and looked up at the pile of rocks that served as a stair way. At the top was a ledge with another entrance. Luna growled and ran towards the pile. Without a break in movement, she leaped up the rocks, and began to play a game of touch and run. She was at the top within seconds. Here she hesitated outside the entrance; the whole place was dark save for a few small holes that allowed moonlight to seep in. Sighing and wondering if she would regret this later, Luna ran through the opening.
** I hope this is good, I'm not that great with descriptions and personalities.
Yes, I was here before, and due to my internet being down, I believe I was deleted. Oh well, I revised her and she seems better, to me at least. XD**
