Try not to be ‘Uber powerful’, if you can help it – as far as we know, the majority of mutants are class 3 and under, and tend to just have a couple of powers rather than a full arsenal. Also, unique mutations are good. If you’re an OC try not to copy anyone canon or already registered. Variety is also good – we don’t want a site filled with all elementals, cool though those powers are, for example.
No more Telekinetic Mutants!! Unless established in Canon, of course. We're over-run with the damn teeks.

Not an especially formidable form, huh? Well, here’s the catch. We’re looking for substance and detail under each heading to prove that you really know every inch of your character. Note on X-Men
X-Team at time of writing consists of Logan, Ororo, Bobby, Kitty, Piotr, Rogue, Josh, Warren and Hank. Anyone else must be invited to join the team - so no, you can't just be an X-Man. You have to go through being resident at the Institute IC first unless you have a very good reason they let you join and win the X-admin (i.e. Josh) over in your applic.
