(An Alternate Movie Verse RPG)
It had been a year since Alcatraz….
It had seemed that the so called “cure” had worked.
But….
It hadn’t. There had been an error that the scientists had overlooked. The cure had needed to be steadily given to the patient. It’s effects gradually wore off, and without anymore production of the cure, cured mutants began regaining their powers.
The X-Men had been steadily recovering from the loss of their mentor Charles Xavier and their former team mates, Jean Grey and Scott Summers. New students arrived daily, and a few additions had been made to the X-Men roster. Storm was now the headmistress and field leader of the X-Men with Wolverine in charge of field training.
It had been a normal day when the news reported that Egypt had been claimed by one mutant by the name of Apocalypse. His group of mutants had attacked Cairo and taken the city for their own.
Now, the X-Men must rise to meet this new threat.
All the while…
Magneto’s Brotherhood was gaining strength daily. They had been plotting for almost a year, but keeping to themselves until the right time. Their plan had been foiled as this new mutant had claimed the world’s spotlight. Now, Magneto’s plans for world domination will have to wait.
