In the wake of Alcatraz, three schools of mutant thought have risen in the aftermath.
The X-Men, led by Storm and Beast continue their selfless fight for the good of all.
The reinvigorated Brotherhood, once again led by Magneto, seeks revenge on their inferiors, and plan on charging through anyone in their way.
The Connecticut School of Superior Individuals led by Emma Frost and her husband Alex Hunt teaches that one should ignore the hatred of humankind and use their powers to manipulate the world into a better place for themselves.
There's a new president, and Bolivar Trask is his second-in-command after betraying the former administration. Hank McCoy was removed from office. The cure is just a 'treatment' now, but more dangers lie ahead.
Then there are the wildcards, the unaffiliated. They could join any team, or stick to their own guns.
This is the world of Three Schools.
