(I had my application nearly fnished, in Word, and it had an error. It was lovely-awesome, too...I'm doing my best to make a new one that matches the supreme awesomeness in less than an hour, now..*sigh*
Another random note: the lyrics to the AAR song uptop - I was listening to that song as I was writing this, and just now noticed the words to it...yeah. I felt like sharing. )
Name: Remy Etienne LeBeau
Codename: Gambit
Age: 19
Mutation:
Physical Description:
Personality:Remy LeBeau is a generally sweet, kind-hearted person, who generally means well. He's commonly misunderstood, due to his outwardly flirtatious, cocky, and devil-may-care personality, but he is genuinely sweet, and care more for others than he tends to let on. He usually hides anything classified as "vulnerability" in himself, usually keeping a charming, cheerful, pleasant facade over everyting. If he's going to brood, he prefers to do so alone, rather than in the company of others. He doesn't like to see others hurting, and tends to try to remedy it, cheer people up, best as he can. If he gets emotionally involved with something, he tends to get rash, and almost thoughtless, if something goes wrong. He's more than willing to sacrifice his own safetly, in emotional situations, for that of someone else he cares about. He's more dependant on others than he lets on, and doesn't usually prefer to be alone, a more social person than most would think he was. When lonely or bored, he'll go out and find random people to "bother", or spend time with, most preferably with female company. In addition, he's a little eccentric, a little bit ADD, at times. He'll randomly say what pops into his head, in certain moods, even if it's utterly insane. He'll sometimes get a random fixation on a shiny object, for example, in the middle of a conversation, and become sidetracked. But he generally has style, grace, and a general likeableness to him.
Background: Remy was abandoned as an infant, presumably because of his obvious mutation, the eyes he's had since birth. He was found in a dumpster, and taken care of by several older teens living on the street. They taught young Remy how to pickpocket, and he learned fast. He attempted to pickpocket Jean-Luc LeBeau, the leader of the Thieves' Guild. When Jean-Luc caught him, he found the child, then only 6, endearing, and adopted him. Remy excelled in the thieving skills he was taught, becoming one of their best Theives. He manifested his powers at 17, and eventually managed to control the powers, after causing a lot of damage, blowing things up. He was engaged to marry Belledonna, the daughter of the leader of the Assassins' Guild, the Theives' rivals, but he broke off the engagement a week before the wedding, realizing he didn't want that, after all. This understandably pissed Belle off, and Remy ran off, heading north. He's made his way to New York, and has just recently arrived.

Dark sunglasses covered a pair of glowing red-on-black eyes, both effectivly hiding them from view, and pretecting them from the harsh light.
Walking through the brightly lit shopping center, Remy's coat pockets were loaded with random little things that had caught his attention, and in return he'd shoplifted. Most were random little trinkets he'd likely give people at random, but there was also a CD, and a few items that were valued over $25. But, all in all, it was mostly cheap, and would never be noticed missing.
Unless, or course, someone there was obsessive-compulsive, and counted everything, kept really close count of every item in the store... In which case, they'd notice, but he didn't think he'd ever be blamed for it.
He entered another store, this one a jewelry store. He enjoyed testing himself, trying to take from places that had some form of security. Besides, he had several females he cold give gifts to for no reason - most of them liked jewelry.
About thirty minutes later, he left with one purchase, and two small thefts. The purchase was a distraction to the salesperson, as she was busy talking about one thing, while he was snagging others.
Oh yes. He rocked.
He went into the food court, and decided he'd get himself a coffee. In line, there was several fairly attractive girls, and he tossed them a charming grin, to which they responded with blushes and giggles, whispering to eachother behind their hands, tossing him glances, looking away quickly if they saw him looking back.
Ah, it was good to be him.
By the time he left the mall, he had accumulated over $100 dollars in stolen ietms, five phone numbers, and a deliscious iced coffee. All in all, not a bad way to pass an otherwise-boring Saturday afternoon. Now he would go home, and destribute the gifts accordingly, or stash them away for later giving.
'Cause, even as awesome as he was, he sometimes needed to squirm his was out of something with gifts and charm. Not that that was going to happen in the near future, he was just being well prepared.
Winchester - Wow, I almost forgot this. I had it on the original app, the one I lost. Heh. ;D
