First of all i know this character isn't a mutant, if he isn't accepted i will gladly make a different one. The main reason i wanted to use him is because he can be molded very nicely. I loved the Winter Soldier LS that came out last year and i was enthralled that a character that is that significant had about 60 years of untapped history(Including possible ties with Wolverine and Weapon X) So i thought one way to kind of work him out would be adding him to the Movie verse. I hope you enjoy what i have wrote

Codename: Winter Soldier
Age: 63 (though he appears as around 20)
Mutation:
None, he is human, though he has a cybernetic arm that has super Strength and reaction time. He is also highly trained in marksmanship, hand-to-hand fighting and stealth combat
Physical Description:
Winter Soldier is around six feet tall. He has long rugged brown hair. His right arm is a cybernetic metal arm with a star on it
Personality: Lost, Confused and at times alittle crazy
Background:
Barns was raised on a military base during WW2, his father was killed in action so he was raised by the fellow soldiers. Though it was led to believe that he befriended Captain America on his own it was actually true that he was trained to be what Cap wasn't, an assassin. While Cap was sent out to fight bravely in Combat. Barns was sent to do the "Dirty Work" such as assassinations. Barns was though Captain Americas side-kick during the war, taking the name Bucky. n the closing days of World War II in 1945, Captain America and Bucky tried to stop the villainous Baron Zemo from destroying an experimental drone plane. Zemo launched the plane with an armed explosive device on it, with Rogers and Barnes in hot pursuit. They reached the plane just before it took off. Bucky unsuccessfully tried to defuse the bomb, and it exploded in mid-air. Bucky was supposedly killed. During the drone-plane explosion that had apparently killed Barnes, the young man's arm was pinned to the plane — at odds with Captain America's memory of Bucky choosing to stay with the drone and attempt to defuse it. This is presented as a rationale for the Winter Soldier's bio mechanical arm.
According to the file on the Winter Soldier, after the plane exploded, a cold-preserved body (minus an arm) was found by General Vasily Karpov and the crew of a Russian patrol sub. The recovered young man was revived in Moscow, though as a result of the explosion, he suffered brain damage and amnesia.
Programmed to be a Soviet assassin, he was given the code name the Winter Soldier and sent on covert missions through the years, becoming increasingly ruthless and efficient as he killed in the name of the state. The Winter Soldier's only sign of reluctance was in America in the 1970s; after killing his target, he suffered a breakdown and went missing for days.

Winter Soldier was next sent on a mission to kill Warren Worthington Sr. at the Worthington lab on Alcatraz. Soldier though had a relapse, this one stuck. He suddenly got the memories of Cap and the plane and it all clicked. He never returned back to base instead he went out on his own. He traveled around and wound up in New York living on the streets.

The wind howled, it was cold.....very cold. A group of homeless people sat around a fire warming their hands. Sitting in the corner though was a man around the age of 20. He wore a long trench coat and a raggedy pair of pants. He didn't seem too bothered by the cold he just sat there staring. His name is James Barns though thats what he remembered, his past was still slowly coming to him and he had long blank spots in his memory though, all he knew was that he was known simply as Winter Soldier. He suddenly started coughing, he covered his mouth and saw blood in his hand. Side Effects He thought, must have been from all the brain washing, happened from time to time but nothing too bad.
One of the nearby homeless men walked up to him, he was an older man around the age of 50, he was holding a bottle of Jack Daniels. "Would you like a drink boy, it'll warm you up" The old man slurred out. Barns looked up at him. Part of him wanted to rip the mans heart out, but a part he had just recently felt said no.
He kindly took the bottle "Thanks" He replied simply before taking a swig. He handed the bottle back to the man and went back to his thoughts. Cap.... He thought of his old friend. Wondering if he survived, surly it was possible, He had himself survived that explosion. He recalled his last mission. Mutants He knew about them before his mission, he couldn't remember where he herd about them, alot of things were still hazy.
He was tired, as he drifted off to sleep he thought of one last thing, A name he remembered from somewhere "Logan"
