Suggestion: NPCize Jake?

I was thinking it might be simpler for the X-types and less annoying for Pyro if we drop Jake from the PC roster and carry him forward as an NPC... that way he can be used when the shiny hat turns out to matter, while continuing to adopt his "who, me? I don't actually do anything around here" attitude on other matters.

Talked to Py about this and she's OK with it. Anybody else object?

If not, Py, can you add Jake to the NPC list?

There may be a few situations where it's better to have Jake as a remotely controlled PC, in which case I'll continue to handle him. But otherwise feel free to NPC him to your heart's desire.... That make any sense?
