Mandatory Questions
1. What about you is heroic? "Heroic? Oh...jeez...if there is anything, it would probably be my will to help everyone? I really like helping people, usually at any cost..."
2. What about you is social? What do you like about people? "Well...everything, really!", he laughs wholeheartedly, " I love people for all their traits. I mean, so much diversity within only one single species...and so many different opinions and styles! People are simply a wonderful creature, that's all."
3. Of what benefit could you be to group you're currently affiliated with/intend to be affiliated with? "Well, I can usually get anyone to open up to me, especially if they're shy, and I think I would be useful to the X-men as a super-charger, eh? It's actually a term coined by a friend at the Institute."
4. Why would/did you choose to join this group? "Well, they are a really fun lot to be around, and they most definitely helped me a lot...and still are. I love all of them!"
Personal Questions
5. What is your real, birth name? What name do you use? "It's Daniel Simon Blackburn...I really don't understand why the middle name was chosen like that. Anyways, I always go by "Danny", or "Daniel", and the codename I've picked for myself is Tempero, which is actually a Latin word for "control"."
6. Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? "Like I said, it's Danny. I don't know...it just sort of stuck with me ever since I made friends for the first time? Daniel sounds way too serious, anyway."
7. What do you look like? "Hard to miss me in a crowd- green eyes, white hair, 6'2" tall? I always make sure I look presentable, no matter how minor or nonexistent the requirement for it. Sometimes I grow my hair, and sometimes keep it short. Oh, yeah, people tell me I smile allot. I guess that's true."
8. How do you dress most of the time? "I try to be as laid-back as possible without being vulgar. I like bright and colorful things, but green, red, and blue are my all-time favorites. Shorts or Bermudas and T-shirts and possibly unbuttoned shirts are what you'll see me most of the time in."
9. How do you "dress up?" "I try to wear something classy, and most of all appropriate for the occasion. I seem to have clothes for every occasion that might arise in my closet, anyway. I always have my pendant out when I'm "dressed-up", and the clothes definitely don't scream "ooh- look at me, I'm rich and expensively dressed", and actually they sometimes look better than the said expensive ones. At least in my opinion. I always make sure to have some good perfume on, and am always well-shaved and freshly-showered. Presentation is half the charm, right?"
10. How do you "dress down?" "I guess I do that by simply not being so flashy? I wear my pendant under the shirt, and usually wear only a tee and some shorts that aren't shabby, but nothing special either. Or jeans and a sweater in the winter."
11. What do you wear when you go to sleep? "Depends. During the winter I usually wear pajamas, and during the summer I sleep in my underwear. No need for extra heat, right?"
12. Do you wear any jewelry? "Just this pendant in the shape of a dragon. It's silver, and it was a present from my parents."
13. In your opinion, what is your best feature? "My best feature? Oh, wow, I have no idea. I guess my eyes? People keep telling me how wonderfully strange they are. But then again, my voice isn't too bad either- I was in the school choir in my freshman year. I think it's best to leave that decision to someone else."
14. What's your real birth date? "That would be June 1, almost eighteen years ago."
OOC: I'm not quite sure what year it is IC
15. Where do you live? Describe it: Is it messy, neat, avant-garde, sparse, etc.? "Um...it's inhabited by a Russian.", he laughs once more, then gets serious, "No, I'm kidding, he's my roommate, and he's a really cool guy. You should meet him. Anyways, I try to keep everything neat- so that everyone can walk around without the risk of dying on a misplaced sock or something, and I don't really decorate much, since it's just a borrowed room from the Institute."
16. Do you own a car? Describe it.
"A car? No, I'm afraid not."
17. What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much? "That would most definitely be my amulet. It was a gift from my parents, and the last one they ever gave me. It is valued as a symbol for protection, wisdom, and power."
18. What one word best describes you? "Friendly, without a doubt."
Familial Questions
19. What was your family like? "My parents and my uncle were always very kind and good to me. My parents, I do not remember as much, but as for my uncle, he never treated me badly in any way, shape, or form. He's a really cool guy, into rock and all that good stuff. Too bad he's a bit old to blend in with the youth."
20. Who was your father, and what was he like? "His name was Jarrod Blackburn, and I do not really remember as much of him- just a smiling face, and a warm feeling."
21. Who was your mother, and what was she like? "Anabelle Blackburn, and as with my dad, I don't remember much. Just that she used to hug me and hold me allot when I was little."
22. What was your parents marriage like? Were they married? Did they remain married? "Dominic, that's my uncle, said that they were very happily married. I know nothing of it."
23. What were your siblings names? What were they like? "I'm only child, sadly."
24. What's the worst thing one of your siblings ever did to you? What's the worst thing you've done to one of your siblings?
25. When's the last time you saw any member of your family? Where are they now? "I saw uncle Dominic about a year ago, and he's still living in the same house. I haven't seem my parents since they died in a car accident when I was four..."
26. Did you ever meet any other family members? Who were they? What did you think of them? "No one, other than Dominic, and like I said, he's more of a brother than anything else. He's great, and I love and respect him very much."

Childhood Questions
27. What is your first memory? "A giant, fluffy teddy-bear with an almost equally huge, red bow tie."
28. What was your favorite toy? "That very same teddy-bear, up to when I became a toddler, when the favor went off towards a particularly old Leonardo action figure, you know, the one from TMNT? The one with the swords."
29. What was your favorite game? "I liked all games that involved many people, especially so tag and hide-and-seek."
30. Any non-family member adults stick out in your mind? Who were they, and how did you know them? Why do they stick out? "Well, not from my childhood, no. Later on, at the Institute, I met quite a few who have helped me a great deal, but I'm afraid that's not part of the question."
31. Who was your best friend when you were growing up? "Well, since I pretty much caved in after learning about the death of my parents, it would have to be uncle Dominic."
32. What is your fondest, childhood memory? "My fondest childhood memory? The day my parents gave me this amulet. It was my birthday, and there was a really big chocolate cake."
33. What is your worst childhood memory? "When Dominic took me to my parents' graves, and second to that, the drives to and from the graveyard."
Adolescent Questions
34. How old were you when you went on your first date? "Oh, wow, how embarrassing. I never had a date, really. I'm always going out with large groups of people."
35. It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? "Well, I respect authority where it is due. I really do not know what event most affected it. I guess it was the time I was really badly bullied that I realized that there was definitely a need for authority in life."
36. What were you like in high school? What "clique" did you best fit in with? "Well, I was pretty social most of my freshman year, but then afterwards I got a really bad case of claustrophobia and so was tutored at home, in a rather large, glass-roof room. I guess I would've been in most of the cliques at school if I stayed there. Now I fit in with the "mutant" clique."
37. What were your high school goals? "Like I said, I didn't really go mostly through high school, at least for a year, and then I came to Xavier's. I guess the goal was to maintain a perfect GPA?"
38. Who was your idol when you were growing up? Who did you first fantasize about in your life? "My idol was Dominic, and the person I fantasized about being like is way too embarrassing to say."
OOC: Despite Danny's protests, I'll say it: The character of James Bond.
39. What is your favorite memory from adolescence? "I don't know, really. I guess the moment I realized I had gotten mostly over my fears? Or the Rave that Warren took us to, that was really fun...up to a point."
40. What is your worst memory from adolescence? "The hours I spent stuck in the high school locker, alone and in darkness."
Occupational Questions can also be applied to *team* if X-Men/BH rather than to paid employment
41. Do you have a job? What is it? Do you like it? If no job, where does your money come from? "No, I still don't have any job, and my money comes from my inheritance, or Dominic, since he still insists on giving me an allowance."
42. What is your boss or employer like? (Or publisher, or agent, or whatever.) "I guess Ms. Munroe would be the closest to that, since she's been pretty much in charge of me or something like that. She's a great person, but rather strict. Better than that Logan person, anyway."
43. What are your co-workers like? Do you get along with them? Any in particular? Which ones don't you get along with? "You mean my fellow students? Well, they're all great people, and I get along with them pretty good, except that lately I've been avoiding someone I hurt pretty bad."
44. What is something you had to learn that you hated? "I hated almost every lesson I had that was about conquering claustrophobia."
45. Do you tend to save or spend your money? Why? "Save, since I don't seem to really have any huge needs that require large amounts of spending."
Likes & Dislikes Questions
46. What hobbies do you have? "I like to read, and I sometimes write. Mostly I like outdoor sports, but I also practice Tai Chi."
47. Who is your closest mundane friend? Describe them and how you relate to them. "My closest mundane friend? Wow, I couldn't tell you. I just consider everyone equally my friend. Everyone around me at the Institute is my friend, but I guess Bobby and Josh would be around the same place, if I had to rank the best."
48. Who is your worst mundane enemy? Describe them and why you don't get along. "As odd as it sounds, I haven't really made enemies yet. Or, at least, I hope not. I am still not sure what that one person I hurt thinks of me."
49. What bands do you like? Do you even pay attention? "Oh, I like the older ones: Deep Purple, Helloween, Whitesnake, and also Nightwish, Stratovarius, and Evanescence."
5.0 What tape or CD hasn't left your player since your purchased it? Why? "I don't think I've really listened to music in a long time."
51. What song is "your song?" Why? "My song? I guess it would be Eagle Fly Free, by Helloween. I simply really like the lyrics. It's a great song."
52. What's been your favorite movie of all time? "I don't have one. I don't go to the movies or rent any all that much."
53. Read any good books? What were they? "I really like anything by Anne Rice, but any epic fantasy can also be good."
54. What do you watch on the Television? "Ha, I don't remember the last time I turned on the TV!"
55. When it comes to mundane politics, do you care? If so, which way do you tend to vote? If not, why don't you care? "No, I really don't. And once I can, I am still not going to vote- politics just take the fun out of life."
56. What type of places do you hang out in with your mundane friends? "Cafes, ice cream shops, living rooms, courtyards, that sort of thing."
57. What type of places do you avoid like the plague? "Really small places. Really small, and really lonesome places."
58. What annoys you more than anything else? "I guess some of my own flaws? I seem to really be intrusive and dominant in conversations, and sometimes I reveal too much information."
59. What would be the perfect gift for you? "The perfect gift for me would be a big, fun party, and others having fun."
60. What's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? "Oh, now, I can only say the sunset when Dominic took me to some small island off the east coast. But then again, that sounds way too corny, doesn't it?"
61. What time of day is your favorite? "Noon, most definitely noon- that's when everyone's heading somewhere."
62. What kind of weather is your favorite? "Sunny, with lots and lots of snow. The best kind of weather for skying."
63. What is your favorite food? What is your least favorite food? "My favorite food is most definitely ice cream. Well, fine, it's not really a food, but it still counts. Least favorite? Meat. I don't like meat in the least bit."
64. What is your favorite drink? (Coffee, Coke, Juice, Beer, Wine, etc.) "Well, Coke, but, off the record, I tasted Bailey's once, and since try to sneak a glass every now and then- it's fantastic!"
65. What's your favorite animal? Why? "My favorite animal is the white tiger. It is simply a beautiful example of life- graceful, with wonderfully black-and-white fur...And the blue eyes are great, too."
66. Do you have any pets? Do you want any pets? What kind? "No, I don't have any pets, but I always wanted a dog. It doesn't really matter what kind, but a husky would be wonderful."
67. What do you find most relaxing? (Not as in stress relief, but as something that actually calms you down.) "Well...um...humming...I like to hum melodies of songs. It really calms me down...er."
68. What habit that others have annoys you most? "Nothing, really. I don't mind, or look at, any imperfections- they just remind us that we're not the avatar of perfection."
69. What kind of things embarrass you? Why? "When people go around "boasting in my name", or practically yelling out my accomplishments. Also, people giving me compliments. I don't know why...I just blush at such things...and I am also embarrassed by some little truths about myself...like saying that I blush at such things...You see? Here it is again!"
70. What don't you like about yourself? "My hair. But, then again, I do like it. It's just that it singles me out way too much- I have enough distinguishing features, such as my height, and the hair is like going around screaming "LOOK AT ME!""
71. How would you like to look? "Same as this, only perhaps with black or blond hair. I tried dying a few times, but white is really, really, really bad to dye from.
Sex and Intimacy Questions
72. Would you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Why? "Oh...um...well...I would say I'm slightly bi...I mean...I don't really know...not really...um...er..."
72. Who was the first person you had sex with? When did it happen? What was it like? How well did it go? "Um...I haven't, as of yet, really...had sex..."
74. Have you ever had a same-sex experience? Who with, what was it like, and how did it go? "Er, no...like I said...I'm still a virgin...er..."
75. What is your deepest, most well-hidden sexual fantasy? Would you ever try it? "Um...er...well, I'm really a...a romantic..." to this, he blushes deeply, but goes on, "...so...it's nothing really special...it's just that...well, you know...beach...moonlight...that sort of stuff..."
76. What was the wildest thing you've ever done, sexually? Who was it with and when did it happen? "Um, there's nothing...that wild, to be reported, really...sorry..."
77. Is there any sexual activity that you enjoy and/or practice regularly that can be considered non-standard? (Bondage, Fantasy Play, etc.) Why do you like it? "No, there's not..."
78. Is there any sexual activity that you will not, under any circumstances, do? "Well, yeah...bondage, S&M, cross dressing, and stuff like that...I'll never do that..."
79. Do you currently have a lover? What is their name, and what is your relationship like? What are they like? Why are you attracted to them? "No, I don't have a lover...I haven't yet found my soulmate..."
80. What is the perfect romantic date? "Oh, that's an easy one: A full moon, and a dinner on a balcony consisting out of home-made Italian food (I'm a really good cook, you know), accompanied by perhaps a candle or two, the softest of breezes that brings up the smell of the sea and pines, and a soft music in the background, topped off with a wonderful ice cream dessert and then a nice walk on the beach. Um...did I overdo it?"
81. Describe the perfect romantic partner for you. "It would have to be someone able to appreciate beauty of the nature, and someone who enjoys long walks with long talks, someone to whom the eyes and the personality are the most important characteristics on a person."

85. What's the worst thing you've done to someone you loved? "Well, I haven't loved anyone like that yet, so there is no such thing."
Drug & Alcohol Questions
86. How old were you when you first got drunk? What was the experience like? Did anything good come out of it? Did anything bad come out of it? "I never got drunk. 87. Do you drink on any kind of regular basis? "No, I don't. Sometimes, I sneak a glass of Bailey's, but it's not even remotely close to regular, or frequent."

Morality Questions
91. What one act in your past are you most ashamed of? What one act in your past are you most proud of? "Well, I am most ashamed of what I did to Warren, and I really wouldn't like to explain it. And I am most proud of conquering my claustrophobia. It was a wonderful moment when I realized I no longer ran away from regular-size rooms like the devil from the cross."
92. Have you ever been in an argument before? Over what, with who, and who won? "No, not that I remember. At least not something huge. And the small bickerings were always won by Dominic."
93. Have you ever been in a physical fight before? Over what, with who, and who won? "Nothing outside the training sessions I had. I don't really like physical violence, but I will most certainly use it to protect my friends."
94. What do you feel most strongly about? "Well, it would have to be that everyone should be treated equally and given a chance. No one should ever be left behind solely because they have more bad things in their past than someone else."
95. What do you pretend to feel strongly about, just to impress people? "I don't do that kind of thing. It's stupid to fake something just to impress someone- impressing them means trying to earn credit and respect through who you really are, not who they want you to be."
96. What trait do you find most admirable, and how often do you find it? "Honesty, and I don't really find it all that often. Sadly, everyone lies at this day and age, it would seem. Everyone tries to fake being someone they are not."
97. Is there anything you think should not be incorporated into the media or art (sex, violence, greed, etc.,)? If so, what and why, and if not, why not? "Why would there be any restrictions to media or art? An artist can always express themselves however they feel right. Anything considered vulgar can actually be quite lovely art if put in the right light. Why forbid people to express themselves?"
98. Do you have any feelings in general that you are disturbed by? What are they? Why do they disturb you? "Well, whenever I lock onto someone's mutation and start manipulating it in any way, there's this odd feeling that I should be doing that, and that I can do whatever I want with it. It is a feeling of a large amount of control, and it seems that the temptation to misuse it is rather large. I am disturbed by this feeling of some sort of egotism because I fear at some point I might not be able to resist..."
99. What is your religious view of things? What religion, if any, do you call your own? "I guess you call me a bit of a pagan, or agnostic maybe. I believe in Death, Time, and Destiny, as separate entities. In Destiny, I believe not in the way that everything is predetermined, but rather that we always have a choice to make in a situation, but if the choice we do make is not the one Destiny has in store for us, the same situation, or one very similar, will arise in the future once more, and keep doing so until we make the planned choice. So, we still have control over our lives, but we would, sort of, have to confirm that control by defying Destiny every now and then. Does it make sense to you?"
100. Do you think the future is hopeful? Why? "Like I said before, I never look to the future- what it brings, it will bring, and therefore we cannot possibly do anything about it. Why worry then?"
101. Is an ounce of prevention really worth a pound of cure? Which is more valuable? Why do you feel this way? "That would depend on the disease and what it brings. If it is a lesson we can only learn by experiencing it the hard way, then no, it is not worth a pound of cure, but if it is a lesson that can be learned otherwise, then why not prevent the need for a cure?"
102. What's the worst thing that can be done to another person? Why? "To cause them immense physical and emotional pain. Death in and of itself would come as a relief to someone who has been through years of emotional distress and physical hurt. Mental torture is the worst fate that can befall someone."
103. What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated? "I do not know. Perhaps I would be able to cause them lots and lots of pain? I would never be able to "pull the trigger" and kill someone, not really. It would put too heavy a weight on myself."
104. Are you a better leader or follower? Why do you think that? If you think the whole leader-follower archetype is a crock of shit, say so, and explain why? "I don't know...I guess I am a better follower. I prefer not to boss people around, and I am most definitely willing to help when most people ask me. As a leader, I guess I would be too consumed in not letting anyone down or having someone get hurt to actually be effective."
105. What is your responsibility to the world, if any? Why do you think that? "I think it is my responsibility to give everyone a fair chance and a helping hand if needed. Perhaps a shoulder to cry on, or just an ear to listen to their worries. I think it is my responsibility because not many other people seem to even consider it."
106. Do you think redemption is possible? If so, can anyone be redeemed, or are there only certain circumstances that can be? If not, why do you think nothing can redeem itself? "Redemption? Absolutely. Everyone can redeem themselves, no matter how bad they did. Even if what they did was terribly wrong, they can not only redeem themselves, but also help prevent the person they've wronged from also needing redemption later."
107. Is it okay for you to cry? When was the last time you cried? "Well, yeah, but not when around others. I don't know, I somehow feel as if I'm letting someone down if I cry in front of them. So I never do. The last time I cried was...was...well...on the anniversary of my parents' death. On that day, I always go to the graveyard and spend most of the day there."
108. What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall? "They seem to be in a sort of permanent race with their true selves. Most people seem to be afraid of showing who they really are. I mean, not just a few convictions, but the whole "truth", as it were."
Post-Supernatural Awareness Questions
109. When did you go through whatever made you supernatural? What was it like (in your opinion)? "Supernatural...you make it sound like it is a sort of brand. A commercial. Anyway, back to the question: I don't really know when my mutation kicked in, because it needs other mutants to work, but I discovered it in ninth grade, when I tried helping an empathic girl who just got her mutation active. That experience was really painful, emotionally, and it also was followed by that locker, so not at all pleasant, but the very activation of my power went unnoticed."
110. What do you think now of being supernatural? Is it cool, or have you been screwed? "I merely consider it another thing I can do. It is part of me, but it is not going to describe or define me or my life. I am of course going to try and use it to help others, just another tool in what I have already been doing a while now."
111. Do you have a mentor? Who are they? How did you become their student? "Well, at first I was tutored somewhat by Mr. Wagner, but then he had to leave, so Ms. Munroe sort of became my mentor. She helped me greatly with my claustrophobia, and seems to have watched closely over me for a while now. Even if she is too busy with other stuff and other students, I still somehow consider her my mentor. I don't know why...I guess it's the overall maternal instinct she seems to have."
112. Think of a major event that happened during your training/initiation. What was it? "Uh...the most recent one was when I first used my mutation to negate someone's own. That person was hurt badly, although I don't think any lasting consequences were there. Still, I can tell that it was an immense pain, and I feel very bad about it."
113. What is something you had to learn during your training that you hated? Why did you hate it? "Intrusive telepathy...it is somehow a representation of something bad...or so it seems to me. It's just the act of invading other's minds is just...well...it's bad, alright?"
OOC: He's uncomfortable here because it also feels "good" when he does it, again referring to the feeling of large-scale control and temptation.
Miscellaneous Questions 114. What is the thing that has frightened you most? Do you think there is anything out there that's scarier than that? What do you think that would be? "The thing that still frightens me the most is being alone. Being utterly and completely alone; it gives me a feeling of insignificance, and I do not like that. Not in the way that I want to be something big and important, but I want to matter to at least someone. I don't feel like I matter at all when I'm alone. It is the fear of dying all alone, without anyone near me to even remotely comfort me...the potential realization that I really do not have any friends, that those whom I thought of as such were merely acting, lying in my face. I hate that feeling, it is horrible, and there can not possibly be anything worse than that."
115. Has anyone or anything you've ever cared about died? How did you feel about it? What happened? "My parents died in a car accident. It felt horrible. It was like a part of my soul was ripped off, broken into millions of shards, and then thrown off into a cold wind. It was a feeling not unlike being alone. It was the loss of a child's sense of security."
116. What was the worst injury you've ever received? How did it happen? "Nothing physical really happened to me to be a horrible injury, but the mental scars I still think I have from my time in that horrible locker are big enough, I would say."
117. How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish? "Ticklish? Hehe, well, I am actually quite ticklish, and especially so on my sides. But don't dare put this down, please, I would die if someone found out."
118. What is your current long term goal? "That would be entering the X-men. I really want to help out, and this group seems to be the perfect choice for that. Besides, who doesn't want one of those awesome suits?!"
119. What is your current short term goal? "Making a vegetarian pizza for myself and a couple of friends when we're done with these questions. Would you like some too?"
120. Do you have any bad habits? If so, what are they, and do you plan to get rid of them? "Bad habits? Well, it is not so much bad as it is annoying, but I do have a habit of blundering when embarrassed, and I also tend to constantly have some change in my pockets which I then jingle and flip around."
121. If you were a mundane person, what would you do with your life? What occupation would you want, and how would you spend all your time? "Um...I guess I would just be with tons of friends, aspire to a very socially demanding job, and make sure I didn't lose touch with my cooking? I can't really tell you, my life has never really been mundane, so I wouldn't know."
122. What time period do you wish you had lived in? Why? (Looking at this as an attempt to change history doesn't count.) What appeals to you about this era? "Ancient Greece, or the time of Humanism and Renaissance, since both periods fascinate me with their arts, philosophies, and cultures. It would be great to live in a time of such a change. But then again, the introduction of mutants to the world is not small change either, is it?"
123. How private of a person are you? Why? "That depends. I'm not really private when it comes to hanging out and those little detail and such, but I really don't like talking about either my problems or my successes. Why should I? They are not to bother other people, who mostly have enough of their own. I like helping out, so it's not like I hate some questions and ignore others- I generally try to answer to the best of my ability."
124. If you were to gain an obscenely large sum of money (via an inhertiance, a lawsuit, a lottery, or anything else) what would you do with it? "Put it in a bank with a high enough interest rate, and then leave it there and just live off the interest rate profits. I would surely save up for college, and I would most definitely give some to charity. But not a charity foundation- those almost always have corruption in them. I would buy, for instance, toys for a kindergarten by myself."
125. What would you wish for if you found a genie? "The end of my fears, if it would be only one wish, if it was three, I would also wish for the temptation when using my power to be gone, and perhaps then let someone else make a wish themselves. Pretty selfish, the first two, though..."
126. What do you do when you are bored? "I don't get bored. I'm always out and about, and I still did not have a single case of being bored. But I can imagine that if I ever did get that way, I would just go and do something to stop it."
127. What is the most frightening potential handicap or disfigurement you can conceive of? What makes it so frightening? "Blindness. Not being able to see anything or anyone, living in permanent darkness, surrounded by sounds which I do not know the source of until they decide to present themselves. It would be horrible. Not seeing people I care about, but having to feel my way from one place to another. I would most likely commit suicide rather than be blind.
