Lumen had no idea the danger room would actually work like she planned butthe previous room was gone and transformed so she was standing in the middle of the city now, or at least what felt like one.
Just a few minutes back she was staring at the control panels, doubting it would really recreate anything, it goes poofand some holographic city appears. It feels almost the same, the same cars parked near the sidewalk with people -- okay... no people. That was probably because there were too many holographs to do and not because it was supposed to give that feeling in the movies that something was wrong. Well, maybe it was the other way around, just a tiny bit, the drone marching toward her was definitely proof.
Her reaction was to jump at the direction of one of her buildings, while mid air she focused on controling the energy beneath her feet to jump again this time reaching the edge of the roof. Standing on the edge Lumen looked down (even if she fell one jump would bring her back to the roof) and saw the drone looking up. High is safe right? She thoughts, trying to convince herself the drone had no way of reaching her. The drone raised it's arm, if it could be even be called that, it looked more of a merge between it's arm and a not so friendly looking cannon. Whaa? No fair, no fair! I want to leave this! That caused another question to come to her mind... how did leave the danger room anyway? All of this was new for her, the whole attacking holographs were proving not to be her thing. But then again there were already some kids at the institute that had control over their powers and made it seem so easy. She wanted to be one of those kids, to have complete control over her power, to be able to use it as she wanted, no worries at all. The inner pep talk was interrupted when the drone attacked her with laser beam. She tried to do a back-flip to avoid the beam (hey, it always worked on the movies..) but it still hit her leg making her drop on the floor. The pain felt real as well, and it left a big red mark, but at least it wasn't any acid-skin-melting beam.
At this rate her body would tire out, the only left to do was to attack back. Or else there wouldn't have been any point to sneaking there so late at the risk of getting caught. Besides, high places where nothing new to her.
((OOC: First post, hopefully I'll get better with time. Weird tittle xD. Will continue. If anyone wants to join, go ahead))
