OOC: I know this is named after a song by Placebo (a kick ass one at that!), but i think its the most fitting title, as it deals with Jubee's raw emotions, when she is too tired to pretend they don't exist,
Jubilee groaned as the alarm clock whined in her ear, she turned round and smashed down on it with her fist, a spray of multicolored sparks flew up, dammit! She had destroyed yet another another alarm clock, she still had more work to do when it came to controlling her powers. She had had just four hours sleep last night, two before her late night "adventure" and two after.

She crawled out of bed, her hair in a mess, she plodded over to her closet to get her clothes and towels, she headed out to the bathroom. Twenty-five minutes later she was back in her room, getting dressed, she let the towel fall to the floor, looking at herself in the mirror, she turned, noticing the new bruise on her back, she then noticed how trim and muscular she was slowly becoming. Her late night antics were starting to pay off, she smiled as she got dressed and emptied her bag out on her bed. She hated going to class, but that was one of the conditions of going to Xavier's, if it could even be called that anymore. She sighed as she thought of the professor, and how welcome he had tried to make her feel here. She sat down on the bed and poked through her books and papers, she wanted to make him proud, but yet again her mind wandered, she thought of how she felt in the danger room, the bloodthirsty lust for power and destruction.
She shuddered as she realized that that was how Jean must have felt, Jean who everyone had loved, who had died after killing so many people and giving the school such a bad name... Jubilee scooped her books back into her bag and looked out of her window, the sun had just come up and she bathed in its warm and refreshing light, she saw her reflection in the mirror and looked into her own eyes. The eyes are the windows to the soul, she couldn't remember who had said that, Professor X maybe, it didn't matter now anyway. She looked into the reflection of her own eyes, she stayed there for a while, until she heard the bell, signaling the start of the first lesson.
She shook her head and silently walked out of her room, this is what pure morning felt like...
