Magneto's smile showed his pleasure as Riley answered him and he knew he had found another to rally to the cause. Magneto wished to draw as many mutants to his side as he could for despite the fact he had fought the X-Men on numerous occasions, he put them all in the same basket, after all, they shared the same common enemy. Riley however, seemed to be seeking something else than the rest of the Brotherhood, she seemed lost and confused, unsure of just where she belonged, but that too could be solved by Magneto and his allies.
"Perhaps you should find a safer place until Nitrous and I are done here my dear," he said with a smile, "that is unless you wish to show us just what your capable of?," he asked Riley as he tilted his head and dropped his hand. "See to our guests Nitrous and then meet me and our sweet angel here down at the harbor," he said as he nodded to the men who had set up a defensive position in front of them. Magneto knew Nitrous could handle anything these homo sapiens could throw at him tonight, besides Mystique should be almost done anyway.

Once Riley had told Magneto that she would join, she saw him smiling, glad that she wanted to join. As soon as Magneto started asking her if she wanted to go some where else, while he continued on what he was doing, she kind of felt a bit insulted, but didn't show it. When he continued on speaking, he had given her a choice to leave or to stay and show them what she has. Riley thought for a second. She didn't have the powers to do all of this, but then she had never even tried her powers since, and maybe they could work. Riley then thought maybe it would be a good idea and leave, but then that shows that she was weak and that she didn't really wanted to be apart of the Brotherhood. "Bring it on." she told him with a smile.
Riley was willing to fight and show Magneto what she can do at the moment. She managed to hear the rest of what Magneto said to the guy, whom was being called Nitrous, saying to take care of these men and then meet him and Riley at the harbor. Within an instant, Riley and went shooting up into the sky. She did a slight backflip and twist in the air, allowing her to turn around and face in the direction of the men and harbor. She then lowered herself a bit, but was still high up in the air. While up there Riley was trying to figure out what she should do first.

"See to our guests Nitrous and then meet me and our sweet angel here down at the harbor,"
"My pleasure, boss" he replied. Turning from the two, he prepared himself for some major ass kicking. The soldiers, who were set in a defensive position, guns blasting away, had no idea what they were in for. He advanced slowly, deliberately, hoping to strike some fear into the sapiens before they were disposed of.
Then, suddenly, he stopped. Bullets passed through his almost ethereal, nitrous based form. He let a smile play on his lips and then with out warning...
Two streamers of super heated nitrous advanced toward the soldiers' position. The streamers seemed to be bonded to his form as they grew in size and heat intensity. He barely even heard the shouts of disbelief...and pain.
Not hesitating, he activated another aspect of his power. He could move and think at superhuman speeds for a little bit, at the cost of some of his stored nitrous. Speeding towards them, he was basically a blur of blue and silver.
Allowing himself to become slightly solid, heated fists met soldier bodies. In a blaze of adrenaline, nearly three quarters of the defending guards had been incapacitated by one mutant. The remaining quarter bravely fought on.
Within seconds, even those few were writhing in agony, with nitrous covering their clothes, they burnt quickly and painfully. When it was all done, Nitrous surveyed what he had done. Bodies lay smoldering where they had fallen. Nobody moved.
Seeing this, he felt little remorse for the sapiens. They had brought this upon themself.

While up in the air, Riley watched as the other guy was being shot at, but it just went through him. Then the blue flame extended from him and began to kill the soldiers that were there. It seemed like they were in a lot of pain and were brunt. Riley wasn't sure what she should do. If she should help these people or let them die.
It didn't take much to decided, since she began to think of the help that had tried helping her and ended up dead, agered her a bit. Soon there was more shooting and some more soldiers came running towards them. Riley wasn't sure if it was the memories or the fact that she got shot in the arm, set her off. If you were looking into her eyes, you would swear that you could see the fire in them. She just looked at them down below her. It had been an extremly long time since she last used her telekinesis, but for some reason it always reacts with her emotions. Soon many sharp objects were floating in the air. The soldiers stopped shooting and looked terrified. Within and second all of the sharp floating objects went straight into them. A few soldiers were still standing and the rest had fallen down to the ground instintly. It didn't take much longer until the rest had fallen onto the ground.
For some weird reason, Riley actually felt good about what she had done. She had never really killed anyone before, but she was always saving lives. So this was extremly different then what she was use to. Also, Riley was never able to control her power and right then for only moments, she was actually able to control it, and began to wonder if she would be able to do it again. Riley soon came closer down beside Magneto. She looked over at him with a smile and wondered what he had thought about what she had just done.

Magneto watched Nitrous go to work, dispatching of the homo sapiens with practiced ease. The boy tore through the ranks of soldiers as if they were mere cardboard, burning and dismantling each and every one who posed a threat or who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. When the screams floated up to Magneto's ears, he had to look away for the fire and cries reminded him of things better left in the past, but he also knew as a leader, he had to look, to show that he was pleased with his followers actions. However, when Magneto chose to look upon the destruction which Nitrous left in his wake, he saw something a bit surprising. Riley seemed to have taken up her newly acquired role as Brotherhood inductee to heart and dispatched of what was left of the squad dispatched to handle the invasion of the base.
Arching one eyebrow, Magneto let a small smile slip his lips, "Well done my dear, well done indeed," he said letting Riley know he approved of her actions. "Clear a path for the others Nitrous," Magneto called out as he floated toward the harbor, motioning for Riley to stay close and follow. He wanted to see just what else she was capable of and if the X-Men decided to show up, he wanted to be the first ones to see their faces when Riley introduced herself as the new member of the Brotherhood.

While watching Magneto and waitting for his response, Riley soon saw a small smile on his lips. Then he told her that what she had just did was well done. She knew that he was pleased with her and wondered if he would really let her join him. Riley was actually starting to feel pretty good about what she had just done, but she was a bit shocked at the same time. Riley guessed that over time she wouldn't be shocked any more and would continue on, or maybe change her mind about this and go back or just be on her own.
Magneto gave some orders to the guy called Nitrous, telling him to clear a path for the others. Right away Riley wondered if the rest of the Brotherhood was going to join them. Magneto then began to make his way towards the harbour. She noticed that he was motioning her to come along with him, Riley nodded her head and followed him. She wondered if he was planing on making her do more things and checking to see what else she was able to do. Riley knew she couldn't do to much, and it was all luck that she was able to use her telekinesis for only a bit.

"Clear a path for the others Nitrous,"
With a nod of his head, Nitrous sped ahead, towards the remaining forces. They, too, were armed to the teeth with firearms, and they wasted no time in opening their fire on the silver-blue blur that was speeding towards them. The sound of bullets met Nitrous' intangible ears.
With superhuman strength and speed, he flung the soldiers around like rag dolls. One after the other sped through that air, only to meet the pavement a moment later. Fire licked their clothes, sparked from the intense heat that the mutant called Nitrous was emanating.
Others dropped guns, after they became too hot to touch. Countless streamers pulverized the soldiers backward, until finally, none stood. Steam was rising off the pavement and from the enemy's unmoving bodies.
Turning, he spoke.
"Done, boss"

Now as it was in her nature, Mystique was already inside, of course under the cover of one of homo sapiens that worked there. She started out posing as a simple guard, keeping an eye on the others that had access to the computers, and their alarm systems, all the technology that they had. And of course she didn't pose just as two, she worked her way up taking the form of the next person in line. Still she moved at a steady pace, letting Magneto and the rest of the Brotherhood make their own entrance. By the time they realized that they were under attack they would be too late.
**Sorry if I need to modify I will. I read many of the posts but I didn't read each and every single one and comb through details.**
The commotion going on outside was more than enough to make it clear that Magneto was there. There were muffled yells and clatter as the base was slowly being ripped apart, the gate the walls.. All of it would bend to Magneto's will.
While others rushed around to contain the situation Mystique disarmed the alarms, of course it wasn't like hacking into this system was her first. Not to mention she had been mingling around here for the past week, making sure that everything would be secure... for them. She already had everything laid out, the excuses and commands she could give others as they attacked, ensuring that she was alone to do whatever she wished inside. Sure they may find out that this naval base had been attacked but only hours later after they were assured it was a false alarm, that was unless the press got in on this little event before they left the scene. Still by then it would be too late, a hundred men, a thousand men.. They were but grains of sand crumbling under their feet..
Mystique let a cold smile issue across her lips, wondering if perhaps some part of Magneto was reminded of the places he was contained as a child.. The walls, the iron gates, men shouldering guns. It's hard to image just how much this was like Neverland...

Magneto left the ground work and soldiers to Nitrous, after all, he seemed to be doing a good enough job of it, but the old man couldn't help but wonder just where his little protege was at this moment and how well he was fairing in his first attempt at leadership. Magneto had given Pyro a great deal of authority on this mission, putting him in charge of the ground forces and the main distraction, after all, the boy seemed to be rather good at distractions, at redirecting truths and half truths around him, even in his own personal life.
It didn't take Magneto, with Riley in tow, to reach the waterfront and just what he was after. The ships here weren't really sea ready yet, so no real crew was here to offer much resistance, as if they could anyway. With a furrowed brow, Magneto gritted his teeth and pushed his hands outward in the direction of a large destroyer, pushing the metal clad ship through the water and into the surrounding smaller ships. Alarms that had been blaring suddenly stopped and the only sound now was cries and the sound of bullets tearing through the air. "Thank you my love," he said in reference to Mystique, whom he knew to be responsible for the shutting down of the alarms.
Closing his hands quickly, the hull of the great ship he moved, twisted as if someone had a hold of the steel which it was made of and then a large portion was ripped away, followed by another and then another, causing the great destroyer to slowly begin to sink into the water. As the giant ship sank, Magneto released whatever hold he had on it and he himself slowly fell from the air to the ground below. His head was spinning and his breath short, but he held his composure well. He wasn't at his top physical peak just yet and his body was still getting used to the strain once again. Sure he had moved an entire bridge across San Francisco bay, but that was before when he was in full control, but now, he was still fighting the residual effects of the cure which had been so violently forced upon him.
Shaking his head slightly, Magneto took a breath and centered himself, drawing his cape up around his right arm as usual and turned to see how things went behind him. Chaos still ensued, but for how long? Reinforcements would be here soon and the old man still didn't know for sure if all the cure had be spent yet...something he doubted highly. Surely there were still a few cure cartridges left around somewhere and no doubt that the homo sapiens would be trying to recreate their foolish idea so that it would be more permanent the next time around.

Avalanche was hyped up from using his powers. It had always been that too much made him a little woozy. Also the fact that they had destroyed a load of shit and made a great mess was a bonus factor too. Pyro had told him to go ahead and announce that their distraction had worked and that it was time to go ahead with the rest of the plans.
Scrunching his nose up at the smell of noxious body fumes he walked through what seemed like a cemetary of war casualties. Spying random limbs he had to control himself from throwing up. It was a little too disgusting for his tastes.
Seeing that Magneto was surveying his destruction with keen eyes, he went over, trying not to step on the remaining chemicals. Using his powers he created a hole in the earth where they could drain into, not that he would usually do that, it was just they were making his woozy.
"We did what you wanted. All the pretty ships are now playing with the fishes. Pyro got excited but then you know how he is."
Avalanche saw the destruction in his head. While he had shaken the ground and caused rocks to fall in the ocean and create tidal waves, Pyro had been shooting off fire bursts as much as he possibly could. It was actually very pretty, when you didn't count the screamiing navy guys who were on fire.

Following Magneto, they soon reached the waterfront. Riley wasn't exactly sure what they were going to do, but that was soon all answered when Magneto was using his powers to push the ship into the water. Once it was in the water he soon started putting huge holes in it and tearing it apart into peices. When he was done taking it apart, he then let it sink into the water. Riley was slightly surprised at how powerful he really was, but then she had heard about him moving the San Francisco bridge over the bay, though Riley wasn't there to see it. She watched him as he landed, knowing that he was still trying to get the rest of the cure out of his system and he was still getting use to his powers again. Riley knew what he was going through, though she wasn't cure and didn't have her powers anymore, it was that she was trying to regain control over her powers once more, but it's a lot more harder then she thought.
Soon there was no more alarms going off. Riley guessed it was Mystique, cause she was the only one in the Brotherhood who knew how to work security system and get in without being caught by anyone. Then Riley noticed a guy walking up to them. She knew it wasn't the guy called Nitrous, cause he wasn't moving fast and wasn't blue, he also seemed to have a different power. As he was coming towards them, holes were being made in the ground, making the bodies fall into it. He soon stopped by Magneto, saying that he and the others have done what Magneto had ordered them to do.
Riley listened to him, trying to figure out if she had met him before, but she hadn't. Riley also guessed that the guy that had walked up to them, didn't notice her floating in the air. So she landed down by Magneto, letting her wings go back into her back, and looked at the guy, sort of letting him know that she was there and now apart of the distruction. She waited to heard what Magento had to say and if there was anything else that they should do.

Avalanche was handling the situation and his powers quite well, showing a great deal of control in both circumstances. The boy might not have been able to directly turn his ability onto the homo sapiens, but he could turn it upon those things which surrounded them, something which proved to be quite as successful. Magneto couldn't help but wonder just how powerful the boy was and could be given the proper training and time. Avalanche showed a great deal tonight but Magneto thought that perhaps maybe one day soon, the boy might be able to focus his ability enough to say....dislodge the entire state of California or New York. After all, California sat on a series of fault lines and with just the right amount of persuasion from Avalanche, perhaps the entire state would break free and sink into the ocean, or perhaps just enough to create a new island for mutants only.
"Yes," he said in reply to Avalanche's comments, "Not bad for a practice run," he said, reminding the boy that tonight was easy and that the real test would come when everyone had to act without his presence and ability on the battlefield. Magneto couldn't be there for every fight and he had to find the best of the best to represent him on those occasions, hence the little exercise tonight and the authority given to Pyro. The old man stood a bit straighter as Riley landed, putting his hands behind his back, putting on a good show for their new member, trying not to show just how weak he was right now. "Well, don't just stand there my dear, introduce yourself to Avalanche," he said giving Riley a glance from the corner of his eye, his face as somber and serious as before.

While standing there, Riley listened to Magneto speak to the guy that walked up to them. She had heard him saying that all of what they just did was just a practise run. I wonder what the real thing is like, if this is just a practise run. Then Riley noticed when she had landed that Magneto straighten up a bit then put his hands behind his back. She could tell that this was an act, trying to show her or his pawns that he was weak and trying to regain all of his strength again.
Soon Riley heard Magneto saying to her to stop standing around looking at them and introduce herself to the guy called Avalanche. She knew it wasn't his real name, since everyone that is in the Brotherhood had codenames like the X-men, but they use them all of the time instead of just using it for missions. Riley looked over at Magneto and noticed him looking at her from the corner of his eyes. So Riley then looked over at Avalanche. "The name is Riley." she told him. She didn't really have anything else to say and if she did way would she say it.
Soon Riley began to wonder if she really was apart of the Brotherhood or Magneto was just allowing her to stay around for a bit before sending her back to the school. Riley wasn't planing on asking Magneto if she was a member now or not, but she is going to wait and see what he would say.

After he finished off the remaining sapiens, Nitrous floated a few feet into the air, a slow gait. He was starting to feel a little fatigued, but he knew he could handle the rest of the mission in nitrous form. As he hovered back toward Magneto's position, he witnessed the arrival of Avalanche.
He saw them conversing, but he was too far away to hear any words. The Angel-Girl had taken up a post beside the boss, her wings slipping back into her graceful body. Interesting power... he thought.
A moment later, he was next to Avalanche. He acknowledged him with a simple nod of the head and focused on this new recruit. He looked at her and decided she would probably make a good Brotherhood...especially with her ties to the X-Men. He had seen her a few times at his stay at the Mansion...maybe even talked to her once or twice.
Turning to the boss, he asked, "What next?", and, trying to remember his manners, "By the way, I'm Nitrous" to the girl.

"Patience," Magneto said in response to Nitrous' question, his eyes darting across the layout in front of him, as if he was studying a chess board. Magneto was an excellent strategist and his age had only improved that gift over the years, however his arrogance did hamper him somewhat. That arrogance had been mellowed out somewhat since his defeat at Alcatraz and now he seemed to be a bit more cautious in his movements, giving more credit to his opponents that he previously had. "Let's give Pyro some more time and see what he does, see if he's learned anything from what I've been trying to teach him," he said with a slow breath, as calm and collected as ever, that smug attitude setting back on his face.
Truth be said, Magneto hadn't seen hide nor hair of his young firebug protege and by now he was beginning to become a bit concerned. The homo sapiens shouldn't have posed too much of a threat to the boy, after all, Pyro's ability with flame was beginning to show even more and more potential with the boy toying around with the idea of creating flame creatures and whatnot. "Your my front man tonight Nitrous, make sure you keep the humans scattered and away from me. This night is Pyro's and the rest of the new recruits, so don't hold back," he said as he nodded to an armored transport which was pulling up onto the scene.
