Kurt waited patiently outside the doors of the Danger Room, crouched down low and leaning back against the wall. He was dressed in an outfit which he had not worn in a long time, save for the most recent outing to Alcatraz. His combat uniform, leather like the rest, was sleeveless and outlined in red with several small symbols threaded upon it, the long leather trench coat colored much the same way with a much larger symbol etched across the back of the coat also outlined in red. The symbols matched the ones Kurt himself had carved into his own body, 'angelic script' as he referred to them but as for what they said or meant, only Kurt knew.
Kurt had offered his services to two of the institutes students as of late, one Damien Schwartz with whom he would be aiding in taking control of his power and another by the name of Daniel Blackburn, whom was seeking membership on the junior team of X-men. Damien, Kurt suspected, would be much easier to teach considering the boy shared a similar ability of teleportation, though on a much grander scale than Kurt's. This Daniel, however, might prove to be more of a challenge seeing as how part of his dilemma at the moment was his claustrophobia. Mental problems such as phobias were a delicate matter and had to be handled patiently, as Ororo herself could testify, and Kurt knew that tackling that monster would more than likely be a combined team effort.

So here he is, walking down this infinitely small hallway, after getting out of the worst elevator he has ever seen, and he is already at the verge of a mental breakdown, or so it seems at least. As he sees the...man in front of the Danger Room's doors, Danny hurries up to him, hoping his guts out that they will be somewhere more spacious as soon as they meet and get over with the formalities (which he, of course, does not neglect usually, but right now space is the first thing on his mind).
"Um...hi...I'm Danny." he says shortly, his eyes darting from wall to wall and sweat coming out on his forehead. Nothing's gonna happen, nothing's gonna happen, nothing's gonna happen he throws futile attempts at reassurance, so useless and stressed out themselves that they are in very bad grammar. The wall are about to collapse and I am freaking worried about GRAMMAR?!
He flashes a short smile, not sure if the last bit of that thought had been projected telepathically or not. "Um...sorry...can we go somewhere more...spacious?" he asks as the walls around him start to compress and go towards him, showing every bit of intention to squash him.

Kurt regarded the boy coming toward him with a smile and then with a look of worry as he could see the worry on the young man's face more clearly. The boy seemed like he was about to freak out at any minute, as if he were on the verge of some sort of mental breakdown or something. Tilting his head to the side ever so slightly, Kurt dropped his smile and now studied the boy's face......taking into account the tone of voice and the apparent hurriedness of his speech. Kurt's bright yellow eyes darted to the walls the boy kept staring at and then as if a light clicked on, Kurt figured it all out. "Claustrophobia seems to be a reoccurring theme for the X-men," he said, giving an obscure reference Daniel would certainly not pick up on, not now anyway. Storm herself still suffered from the phobia, although the Professor had worked miracles with her, helping her conquer the biggest part of that nightmare.
"The biggest enemy any of us face is our own selves," he said cryptically as he stood, turning around and punching in a series of codes into the numeric keypad on the wall. The large metallic doors slid open with a compressed hiss upon the completion of Kurt's code, allowing both he and Daniel access into the dimly lit room beyond. Currently the Danger Room was in stand by mode, running on reserve power, just waiting for Kurt's command to begin a specially designed program to help Daniel. "After you," he said glancing back over his shoulder with a smile, almost sure that Daniel would tear by him in a vain attempt to find a bigger space to stand in.

And Danny indeed hurries into the room, but just before he actually checks out what his environment is consisted of, turns to face the blue man again. "Um...did you mean Mrs. Munroe? I...talked to her a while ago..." he says, still edgy about all the small space. The elevator is still in his thoughts, that infernal contraption always being the worst of the worst. It is even worse than other, smaller spaces, mainly because it is not only closed up, but moving as well, and downwards just makes the situation more unbearable.
He turns to see the famous Danger Room, surprised to see a blank white area. "Um...why is this called...the Danger Room? It's...not...really that...dangerous..." his voice is still breaking up under the stress. The room is still not big enough to make Danny completely comfortable, but it is far better than the awful hallway.
I am really starting to miss the courtyard, even in rain... he thinks, his eyes darting quickly from wall to wall, making sure there were no insidious gears behind them to make them move forward and squash him.
((I know it's a very bad post...sorry))

Kurt slowly follows in behind Daniel, a smile on his face as he watches the boy find some respite and relief in the larger Danger Room, although once things get under way, Daniel might wish he was back out in the hallway, away from all the spinning saw blades and compactors. Of course, all those dangerous instruments and scenarios would be held off till later.....much later, right now was a time to establish just what Daniel's powers could do and how much control he had over them. Kurt had read up on Daniel's file, thanks to the help of Ororo on that one, and found several interesting pieces of information there, especially on how the boy was able to copy and use any mutant power near him.
The door slid shut behind Kurt as he stepped full inside, the blackness therein lasting on for a second or two as the lights clicked on one by one illuminating the very large and spacious Danger Room. Nothing was located inside, just a bunch of air and metal....nothing else...save Kurt and Daniel of course. "I vill help you vith your fear just az ze Professor helped miss Munroe once upon a time," he said nodding to Daniel, a reassuring smile on his face, although all those sharp white pointy teeth of Kurt's might have unnerved him more than the smile was supposed to help. "Az to vhy its called ze Danger Room..vell...you'll find out soon enough," he said with a mixed German/American accent, "but first, I vant to see your ability first hand," Kurt said as he crouched low down on the ground, tilting his head from right to left, studying Daniel. "Vell....lets zee," he said again, arching his eyebrows and waiting for the show.

Danny listens intently, a short, very uncomfortable smile flashing on his face as he notices his tutor's teeth, but says nothing. He is still slightly nervous, even though inside such a spacious place, and it shows in the occasional twitches of his shoulders and frequent spasmodic movement of his eyes.
His eyes focus for a few seconds on Kurt as he asks to see Daniel's mutation. "In here?" he asks, and then chuckles nervously, more at the stupidity of the question than anything else. "Um...OK..." he says, and then shuts his mouth, closing his eyes as well to gain some focus.
<Well, I have some elementary form of telepathy...> he sends the message, opening his eyes and smiling only lightly. <And this...> the addition comes as he moves his hand so that his open palm is pointed towards Kurt, and concentrates. Soon enough, a light blue glow outlining both his and Kurt's body.
<I..um...I'm sort of...locked on your mutation right now...and...well...it should be better...> he sends the message, his "voice" sounding awkward. He puts his arm down. This part of his mutation is easy enough. As long as he maintains the link to Kurt's mind and power, and doesn't strain too much, he can keep on boosting his target's power for a long period of time.
