Josh and Rogue were asked to join the X-Men by Storm after the terrorist attack on Capitol Hill in September. Warren joined the X-Men when they went public as a team following Magneto's second attack on Alcatraz. Toni was asked to join the team in 2008.
Colossus is currently in Russia visiting family, and so is not involved in any plot threads unless someone takes him as a character.
