So, the recent exchange between Toni and Josh reminded me that I have been thinking for a while that the 100m banner might do better to show more of the characters on the site. I'm no graphic designer and lack any real graphics tools, but here is a sample of something thrown together in Powerpoint to give an idea of what I have in mind:  If someone with actual tools and skills thought something along those or other lines was worth putting together, that might be cool. |

Yeah, I was talking with Bob about this and I feel the same way.
I kind of think it would be cool if we could use the Last Stand titles (the DNA flowing around, which cuts to the Danger Room - that bit, you know?) as the basis. I have no graphical ability whatsover, but would give major cookies to someone who came up with something nice.
My vision (hee!) is of the DNA-shinyish background with the avatar shots over it. Possibly the X-Men Last Stand logo 'shopped somehow into X-Men: 100 Mile to Anchorage? Maybe if everyone was able to provide a link to the base picture that their avatar was made from, it would give our budding artists more source material to work from?
No idea if this is actually possible, but would be cool... especially since we're coming up on our 1 year anniversary.
Since it's not the Bob and John show anymore, and Mystique and Mags are totally MIA

... dudes, I thought Toni was working on the 100m Portrait for the new banner? Hence why I haven't bothered changing it yet  New banner would be very cool. And yes, 1 year anniversary is this Sunday... time flies yada yada. *squee* |
