Just outside the mansion sat an inground pool, roughly fifty or sixty feet across lay still, surronded by concrete. On the concrete lay tables and chairs, each fixed with umbrellas for shade. The pool was shallowew on the side closer to the house, being only three feet. The other end of the pool was much deeper, being twelve feet deep. In the pool floated an empty floating chair, it being the only thing in the pool.
About a foot or two above the pool rested a jacuzzi, although dormant, had water spilling over its edges into the pool. A few scant meters away was a boombox who's volume level was almost turned to max, and an upbeat, Hip-Hop-ish song poured out. The song, relatively new, was the latest single by Mariah Carey "Touch My Body". Across from the boombox lay a blonde, roughly 18 or 19, who laid on a lounge chair, her eyes closed. She had one leg propped up, and the other was crossed over it. She wore a one piece, white bathing suit with a v-neck plunge that ends just above her navel.
Her lips were in synch with the lyrics, and she would move her hands slightly for exxageration. Her skin was oily from the tanning lotion, the bottle which rested on the cement near a bottle of water. Her skins eemed to be slightly darker than usual, so it hints that she's been laying out here for awhile.
[[Meh, I felt like I should keep my activity up... So yeah, this way I can also meet more people.]]

Dressed in his usual formal attire of a white shirt with a black suit jacket and black trousers, Reinhart wandered around the facility. Whilst still exploring the mansion since his arrival, he came across a swimming bath area. Impressed by it's size, he couldn't be anything but impressed by the people inside - especially their music tastes. Hearing the all too cheerful twitterings of a pop star he couldn't care for, he decided to take a seat around the area and take stock of the coming and going of people here. It was relatively empty, other than a girl in a white bathing suit to his right by a good four tables. He reached into his bag and pulled out a bottle of water and pulled on the sportscap, squirting a small amount into his mouth and putting the stopper back down.

Heather had begun walking around the Institution after she left the greeting room of sorts. At the moment, she had no idea where she was at the moment, so the blond just continued to walk until she found something or somebody she recognized. Which at the moment, was highly unlikely since she's never explored these ground or meet really any of the people.
Seeing a large house... well mansion, she could pick up the scent of chlorine in the air and assumed a pool or something was nearby. ((Assuming there is a gate.)) Heather walked to the gate boundaries and looked to see if anybody was there. Seeing a blond in a bathing suit (if you could call it that) and a man in casual clothes, Heather felt a little awkward being in a place full of people she did not know. Opening the gate, and wincing slightly as its hinges made a high pitched screech, Heather raised a hand and waved at the two.

Quite happy beign alone, Veronica wans't too pleased at the sound of a gate squeaking. She propped herself up on her elbows and opened her eyes, turning her head sideways. She saw two people, aman in what seemed to be ina suit, and another blonde headed girl who seemed alittle lost, and partially scared. She returned the girls wave, and laid back down. She didn't care much for company, but if the girl wanted conversation, then she'd talk.
Veronica didn't move her lips to the words this time, seeing as how there was other poeple around for now. She let out what could be interpererated as a sigh, althought it was a yawn as well. She was curious as to when she was getting a schedule for her classes but so far, all the teachers have been busy. all she really could do was meet new people, tour the mansion and relax. Relaxing was going to be her first priority for now, and then meeting new friends.

Looking up from the floor, he noticed the blond enter through the high pitched gate. Casually returning a gentle wave, he smiled politely to her and leaned back in his chair. Resting his hand against his palm, with his arm propped up by the arm of the chair he was sitting on itself, he relaxed underneath the parasol and started to watch the water lap away at the edge of the pool with the sun shining above. He wouldn't go out of his way to make conversation with the new comer, but if she tried talking to him he'd e friendly enough... in his own way.

Heather was met with a wave from the two and then silence. Finally taking the other sounds of her surroundings in, she could clearly hear 'Touch my Body' by Mariah Carey. Smiling lightly at the song, she could imagine the blond singing and dancing to the song. Shaking the rude thoughts from her head, Heather made her way over to the edge of the large pool.
Laying down on her stomach, with her head hanging slightly over the edge of the pool, Heather made sure that her shirt did not ride up. She wasn't much for the exposure of skin. Touching the surface of the water with the tip of her index finger, Heather watched as small ripples went throughout the water.
Turning her head towards the two, Heather debating on whether to speak to them. She wanted to get to know at least one person at this place, but her shy side held her back from doing so. Disregarding her 'shy' side, Heather spoke up,
"My name is Heather. And yours?" she asked the both of them.

Veronica sighed and opened her eyes, looking directly at the girl."Name's Veronica. Veronica Devereux..." she said with a smile, giving another half wave. she sat up and laid on her stomach, this time so she could face the girl."So, how long have you been here?" she asked, standing up once more to scoot her chair closer to the water. She laid a finger on the surface of the water, and it temporarily froze.
She laughed slightly and swirled her finger around, slowly bringing it out of the water. As she did, a thin stream of water followed closely behind. She spun her hand in the air, and the water followed the motion, spinning into a circle, sending small droplets of waters everywhere. She clenched ehr fist, her nails digging into her skinas the water spunfaster, and soon, exploded in a shower of water, getting her and the girl near her wet. A few of the droplets of water flew further than she thought, and landed on the man whos at further away from them.

"Oit!" proclaimed Reinhart, getting to his feet quickly to try and avoid the water and ending up getting more of it on him than he thought. There were parts of him which were positively soaked now, much to his dismay. Grumpily, he scooped up his bag and walked closer to the girl who had used her ability, overhearing her name as Veronica. "Do you quite mind?" he asked, his thick accent and posh tone coming through in his speech.

>"Oit" She turned to see the man who had made the noise, the one who was soaked from her little trick. She gave him a look, a very "Not my fault you were here" look. She looked the man up and down, noting his suit. He seemed to be one of those spoiled people, but, she couldn't exactly assume.
>"Do you quite mind?" Ah, her first victim of the day. Her left a wide opening for one of her witty remarks. She opened her mouth, and replied."No, I'm fine. We're just talking, is all." she sneered, her French accent made it all the more rude. She did notice, however, his heavy British accent. Ok, at least she wasn't the only foreigner in this school.

Heather watched as Veronica swirled the water around and closed her eyes tightly as the cold water rained down on them. She abruptly stood up and could hear the man complaining about getting wet. At the moment, Heather's hair was soaked as well as the backside of her clothes. She moved to one of the lawn chair and laid down on her stomach. Heather had wished she had not gotten wet because now she had to dry off before she could do anything relating to her mutation.
Letting out a deep breath, Heather could feel her body temperature dropped slightly and she started to shiver. An annoyed look appeared on her face as she moved to another chair to get into the sun all the way. Looking over at Veronica, she couldn't help but smile at the attitude that was evident in her voice.

"If you'd please, talk a little drier in the future" he said sarcastically, performing a polite smile before moving onwards to one of the seats in the sun to dry off himself. The other victim of this french fancy was there too, and he nodded to her as he sat down. "Some people just have no consideration for others" he said loudly and not specifically to anyone, even though they could all hear.

>"If you'd please, talk a little drier in the future" She scoffed at his sarcastic comment."Only if you learn to dress like an actual human, instead of some maniquin." she sneered, closing her eyes as she did. "So much for British people having nice attitudes." she thought to her self, letting her hand hang over the pool edge into the cool water. The water seemed to come alive whenever she made contact with it, and it twirled around her finfertips under the water, tugging at them lightly.
>"Some people just have no consideration for others" At this, she flicked her wrist slightly, causing a gust of wind to blow over to the boy and through his hair, making it shaggy and messed up. She smiled and sat up, leaning backwards so that she lay on her back once more. She closed her eyes, feeling her body bask in the heat.

"Hmph" he grunted, looking at the girl acting so smug. He'd have to try and knock her down a peg or two. Focusing on the spot just behind where he sat, he pictured something in his mind which was so grotesque and disturbing. A pack of fifteen rats, all big and black, all squeaking their little squeak, and looking vicious and diseased. One of them ran up behind her and went to bite at her heel, were it to touch then the pain she feels would become real. The others started to crowd around her and climb up on the large lounger chair, whilst he controlled the illusion with his mind.

Heather said nothing to the man's comment. She said nothing when she heard Veronica's comment either. Adjusting herself so she was more comfortable on the chair, Heather shivered slightly as her water soaked clothes made more of a contact with the skin on her back.
Ignoring the song Veronica had playing on the radio/stereo, Heather began humming to a song that had been stuck in her head. The hums started out incoherent in the beginning but then the hums could be compared to the song 'Breath Today' by Flyleaf.

She felt something nip at her heel, and she kicked her foot around, Looking down, she saw the swarm of rats. She sat up, and raised her hand. As she did this, a few streams of water from the pool shot up and headed toward the rats. The streams flailed at the rats, knocking them down as she stood up and stood near Heather. She clenched her fist as the streams morphed into one, coating the rats in a thin layer of water. After that happened, she focused on the water and slowing the molecules down.
The water slowly began to freeze, encasing the rats under the ice. Since she couldn't control ice to save her life, she left them there, and hoped they froze. She scooted Heather over kindly, and sat on the edge of her seat, looking at the rats.
