Once Warren reaches a spot that seems free of innocent bystanders and destroyable structures, he settles himself and Terra on the ground, as gently as possible.
"There. See? Years of practice." He grins slightly, not entirely convincingly. "You should have seen my first landing, though. Broke both my legs and most of the rest of me. It’s amazing how much easier this stuff gets with practice."
He settles down on a nearby rock, trying to appear as nonaggressive as he can. "So… Terra… what exactly happened back there?"
