I don't know why this idea flashed into my head during a heated bought of "Which technician am I going to kill first?" here at work, but I think that you should all be awed by my awesomeness.
What if...all the x-men folks got turned into little kids! Like 4 year old x-men running around with the minds of 4 year olds, but the memories and powers of their adult selves! I think that'd be a new awesome kind of awesomeness.
We could have a mutant with the power to, say, affect the rate of growth and even reverse it in living things. And this person is all evil and when the x-men tried to stop them he makes them all little and gets away! And then they have to come to terms with being little and needing booster seats in the jet while finding the bad guy so they can make him make them big again!
And of course with child bodies comes child attitudes! So basically, everyone will be tiny and immature (except for Toni really...she'll be tiny, but otherwise the same).
I think it'd be a really fun thread to do after the depressingness of the whole "ZOMG our future selves are deeeeeead!"/Washington thing.
What do you think?

could be... but would 4 year olds even care that a megalomaniac was on the loose turning people into children? This would totally be a crack thread because we wouldn't be able to reconcile memories with attitudes. For example... Josh remembers being married to Warren and I assume, loves him still as a 4 year old. But... he's 4! So um... right. How does that work with sex memories...?

A fuzzy 4-year-old Jack sounds adorable, nonetheless..
As does a 4-year-old Roger, but that is extremely scary at the same time.

Seems kinda odd, but workable. I'm all for it if it can actually be done without strange flaws in random places.

Because I'm a nerd.. I was reminded of this one Star Trek episode..
..no! Wait! Don't run away!
Anyway.. for some reason or another--I think it was a mutant protozoa of some kind--the crew is affected with a kind of artificial progeria. It's not actual progeria.. but they age rapidly. And, obviously, if they didn't figure it out, not only would they all be old and incompetent very quickly.. they would also all um.. die.
Just in case if we were still interested in playing with age at all..
I'd recommend it to some kind of weird mutation that someone is not keeping in check.. or.. something like that. But... anyway..

Necr0-posting from the Pyromaniac, as I'm a lazy moo and crosslogging seems like a lot of effort... ... didn't Mojo do something like this in Uncanny X-Men Annual #10 and Uncanny X-Men 461 (ignoring the appearances of the X-babies between these issues, as they're clones of the original X-men not de-aged versions)? /x-geek
