... will not be RPing any more due to RL circumstances. Mysti contacted me OOC to pass on the message.
To clarify, Mags/Kurt/Vanessa was one handler, Mysti/Bella the other. Mysti let me know about 20 minutes ago that neither of them are able to continue rping due to RL issues.
.... um.

Everyone, never fear - your intrepid administration team is on the case! *puts on hat* This is by no means the strange plot hiccup that it seems to be... we'll figure something out.
Perhaps have Mags get abducted by aliens.

Hey everyone! It's been awhile since we've done some cleaning around these parts, so I'm announcing another 'P-Day'. Next P-Day is:
Saturday, March 17th
For those of you who weren't present for our previous P-Day, the festivities go something like this. I will be deactivating and archiving accounts that haven't shown any activity between now and March 17th. Activity means (preferably) posting, since we'd hope everyone posts at least once a week. If not that, please contact me via PM about extenuating circumstances.
Why do we do this, Joshy? You say quizzically.
Besides that setting old things ablaze is just fun, cleaning up the profiles section makes things easier for new players trying to create characters and figure out what's going on. Rah! RPG on, minions gremlins fellow X-Men fans!
Josh

Figured I’d drop a note here about this, since I don’t think we can really leave the Brotherhood in leadership-limbo for any length of time, and I know the admins are swamped by RL, and I’ve been bouncing around a somewhat odd thought and I’m curious what people think of it.
I’m thinking of running “The Fate of Magneto” as a whodunit thread… basically, a thread where Magneto disappears and players make IC attempts to track down clues and figure out what’s going on, and where OOC nobody but me knows what actually happened.
Of course, this depends on at least a few players being interested in actually investigating stuff IC, which may not be anyone’s cup of arsenic-laced tea. Because really, I’ll be annoyed if I put the work into setting up a thread like this and then people sorta wander off.
So let me know if you’re interested in participating. Relatedly, if you think your character might be responsible for Magneto’s disappearance in some way, let me know… it might be fun to make one of the PCs the “villain.” (Probably best to let me know your interest in that via PM so others don’t get an OOC clue; knowing ahead of time ruins the fun!)

Hey! I know we talked about this at some point, but I think that if you're interested in doing a whodunit kind of thing, it's a great idea. I'd be interested in being a thread character, as long as Institute types get to participate. If not, no problem.

Maybe you can put them with me since no one else is seems to want to role play with me anymore. I think I may be added to this list soon myself. *shrugs*
Just a tad frustrated, but oh well, what'cha gonna do.

First rule of rp: never moan about lack of action - create opportunities for yourself to play. Because having one active thread is probably what's limiting you, not "ZOMG they is teh evil and not playing with meeee!" because we're a friendly bunch. So.. either start up threads, or hit people who are a) active b) not caught up in a zillion or so threads and c) people you'd like to rp with. *This message brought to you by The Evil Admin Pyro, who also feels it incumbent to point out that being unaffiliated you're likely to have to do work to get in on the action... Much love. We now return you to your regular schedule* P.S Bobby-baby, count me in the Buckethead plot. Because, well, I'm me.

I'd also point out that one of your threads fizzled out because Mags disappeared for a good while, and then because Danny's computer died. Pinnacle hasn't been around lately, either.
It seems more like bad luck than any ill will against you - and I'd agree with starting up some more threads. Keeps you busy while waiting for responses.

I'm gonna come off as a bitch here and know this.
I completely understand computer problems and school that's not it. I have started threads and everyone I've been in (4 so far) died. One of which (not included) finished thankfully. I believe in finishing a story before going into the future and starting another one. That's just how I role play. I had no idea how the role play with waking up in the mansion would work itself out and that's the reason I haven't budged.
I HAVE created situations for role play and they so far haven't panned out. I AM trying to do different threads, but I at least give it a week for response. And I did ask someone to role play and he obliged and was the only one who actually finished a thread with me (Thank you again Josh). So, please, don't preach to me.
Personally, I cannot just predict her future and pop her in another scene. It's like not finishing a story. And 3 scenes did not finish, which leave me without any growth to my character.
So, my only choice is to say adios amigos, it was fun while it lasted.
*Waves and leaves*

So, I feel pretty bad about what went on up above my post considering I was one of the people who dropped a thread. While it's probably too late for this to effect sapphire- a PM reminding me to post will never offend or irritate me (unless it's along the lines of "hey biznatch post or I be cuttin' you" that would be both offensive and terrifying) because I know I'm sort of a ditz as well as anyone else. I remember around when I must have dropped the art gallery thread and it was a hectic week in real life (lots of scholarship apps due and freaking out in general about college) and rest assured I was just as flighty in RL as here, I brought a horse I was schooling for someone out, went to get on, and realized I hadn't put on the saddle hah. Point of that ramble- if you feel like I'm neglecting you poke at me as much as you wish. I would much rather get an unnecessary PM than risk offending someone like sapphire seems to have been offended. *wanders off to be long winded somewhere else *

Hey - I wouldn't feel too bad. I think that Sapphire's a little paranoid... I mean, she's is (was) in a med lab thread with Jackson, and the last day he posted on that was Friday, March 9. She closed out her account on Tuesday, March 13. That's not exactly him sitting on a post for an inordinate amount of time. She was the one who decided to get shot without planning on the outcome.
(Relatedly, Jackson's Three Schools site appears to have been deleted, so he might not be coming back here... but the point still stands.)

Randomass Reflections from The Evil Admin, aka "So, what have we learnt?"- People take time to reply to things (hell, those who rp with me will know this one already - I think 3 weeks is about my record for coming up with a post in any important thread ^_^ Sorry guys) - Threads fizzle out. They can occassionally be resurrected but sometimes they just die. - If you're planning a major action (e.g getting shot) then know where you want your charrie to be at the end of said action. Obviously there are occassions where this cannot be planned and will depend entirely on another player (for example, they're morally ambiguous and the action centres on which way they'll swing, or something), but for the most part know at least roughly where things are going. Because the fact of the matter is we do not always play things in chronological order. Worst comes to the worst you can always ret-con - - Go forth and create many threads, oh evil minions valued and beloved rpers.

-has nothing witty to say- Er... amh.. don't do drugs. Yeah. I think everybody else got to say everything before I could put in my two cents. It's not cool to whine about a lack of postage. Some of us have bigger issues at hand, like, trying to get into college and figuring out what we're going to do with the rest of our lives. All RPing sites come with a dry spell, you just have to get used to it.
Count me in on that plot too, Josh Bobby, by the way. Because no BH plot is complete without our beloved psycho. (I read things too fast. Sorry.)
