K, so here I am, finally. I'm very much interested into this.

While I'd love to have Freddy there, he's young and inexperienced, and very hot headed, so there's no doubt he's sitting out of it.

Danny, on the other hand, would be fun to have there, as would Sherridan.

Sherridan could very easily just have landed there on a randomly selected private jet for an equally randomly selected important business meeting, but I'm not sure how to get Danny there?

It's obvious that if he's there before it starts, it wouldn't go over well. Seeing how he's not part of the X-Men, however, and not the type to sneak around into trouble...how do I get him there? Ideas? Anyone?

Danny can come with the X-Men team.

If I'm not mistaken, the medical lab incident (well, what precipitated it) has left him a bit more of a formidable fighter, which would be taken into account.

The main thing, though, is that this is pretty much a do or die situation. Storm doesn't like taking students into combat - but in this situation, the potential gains overshadow the potential risks. There's way more at stake than a normal mission.

That being said, I think that Freddy is SO new that she would probably put her foot down on that. If you like, though, you could probably have him sneak on the jet - it seems like something he would do, although Josh would probably make him stay on the plane.

I want to start a list of who is going to be present for the thread. Sounds like....

-Warren (I will be NPCing him as a scout, so he can stay in the background... just because this is so important that it would be strange if he wasn't there)

Accounting for other X-Men members... Hank is doing UN things, Bobby has left for college at this point, so he's not at the Institute at the moment, and Rogue is 'dead'.

Oooo.. Logan and Jack would make a good team... all pointy-clawed and animal-y and such..

But we have okayed the idea of the X-Men and the BH being forced together? If so, Roger is going to have his first plane ride.. and hopefully not make the pilot screw up and kill everyone..

Well, Roger's gonna be tagging along with Sherridan on this randomly selected business trip.

I guess they would just kind of run into each other. Besides, Sherridan seems like a good choice, seeing how he's not in direct conflict with the X-men per se, but rather has that "meh, I don't like 'im" relationship. Or maybe I'm just hallucinating.
